Kinda Confused about Cake Orders

I have heard different things aout ordering a cake in Disneyland. I don't want to order the pirate or princess one, but instead a simple one. The kind tha will fill ten people. I have heard a varity of prices from different sources, some even going to $85 for small cake! . It would be Red Velvet With buttercream. The ONE thing I know about this is that you have to order 48 hours ahead of time.

I am debating whether to get it one night when we are staying at the GC. If so, these are my questions...
1. What time do they deliever it?
2. Do I have to pay extra to get it delievered?
3.What does it cost (the cake itself)?
4.Can I even do this?
5. Could I get Tinkerbell encorperated on the cake?

Another option is at the Blue Bayou for Lunch or Dinner My questions are...
1. Do they do this at Lunch?
2. What does it cost?
3. Could I get Tinkerbell encorperated on the cake?

If sent to your room, it'd be between 4 and 6 PM (you don't have to be there for delivery). We're having one delivered to our lunch at Club 33, so I think you might be able to have one sent to Blue Bayou - not sure though.

They can be ordered by calling Disney Vacation Planning at (714) 300-7526, option 2, or (714) 781-4438.

The info above is accurate. You can order to any Disney Table service restaurant (but they do them so seldom, there can be issues.) We've had cakes delivered to a couple different restaurants. You shouldn't have any problems.

The only characters not available that are Disney are the Pooh group. There is some licensing issues. But they did do a Tigger cake where they did Tigger stripes on it in fondant.

Tink shouldn't be an issue. We did Jack once!!

No problem! Glad to help.

I think that means one image can fit on a 6" cake. Since I didn't order any characters, I'm not sure about pricing. Vacation planning got back to me very quickly, and they would be able to explain that in more detail.

I believe it means 1 is free. I have gotten multiple figures and been charged between $4.50-$6.00 for each additional one.

That Jack cake is so adorable! Are the figures 3D or like a slim sugar thing? Are they made out of plastic?

Does anybody have pictures of the Tinkerbell figure? Could you request a color for the cake? When do you pay?

The figures on that cake are white chocolate. They have a wide variety of options, so I can't say what the tick looks like.

I usually do. Or I will just give them a theme. On the one with Mickey, I simply said I wanted a Christmas theme and Mickey. My daughter ordered the smaller cake, don't know what she requested. We usually request the cake, filling, frosting type, etc..
