Hi there,

I say kind of OT, because I'm looking for plain t-shirts and tank tops for our WDW/DCL trip this December for me, DH, DS12 and DD8 so I can iron on some DISigns from our forum DISigners. Does anyone know where I can buy them (either in town, Vancouver, BC, or online that can ship to Canada)?

I'm still recovering from back to school shopping - had to go to so many stores to buy one or two things (couldn't find everything in one store!). It would be great if I could hit one shop or one site and just order a whole whack of plain t-shirts and tank tops at reasonable prices!

Thanks!

Jen

I would imagine that you could get them at most discount stores. Walmart or Zellers or something like that.

we bought ours from Old Navy, they may cost a couple of dollars more (than the ones at walmart) but they are much better quality. They also run sales on their t-shirts quite regularly...

We have bought some at Michaels also. I do find the ones at Old NAvy to be abit better quality but they do cost a little bit more! Just watch for sales!!! :goodvibes

Yes, we've bought ours at Michael's, if you watch for a sale you can usually get them 2/$7. You can easily get different colours too--we had a yellow set as well as a white set. I hate the high-crewneck style for myself, though, so I got a ladies-style shirt (scoopneck, less boxy cut) for myself at Zeller's.

If you are getting the iron-on sheets that you can use in your printer, Wal Mart is a heckuva lot cheaper than Michael's.

It's soo much fun to go in with matching shirts. Everybody notices and comments, including the CMs. I can't believe I've turned into "that mom" (who dresses her family in matching shirts) but it was a ton of fun. :goodvibes

Heck, even go to places like value village for plain white T's. Bought one there for DD when she had a tie-dye activity at camp and it only cost $2!

+1 for Michaels' t-shirts! They were $3 last week, and their quality is great. We made up orange shirts for MNSSHP last year, and got lots of comments!

I was just going to post about Value Village. They always have a great selection of tshirts and any colour you could imagine and probably better quality than you'd find at Michaels, but cheaper than Zellers/Old Navy. You just need to wash them! I :lovestruc VV!

Thanks for the info, I'll check out Michaels and Value Village, they're both closeby, I didn't even think about those stores! I'll check out Old Navy too, I don't like high necked tshirts either.

I bought the iron on sheets from Staples but I'll definitely check out Walmart to see if they're cheaper.

Our Walmart and Zellers here don't have much selection, it's nothing compared to the Walmart in Seattle!

Thanks again,

Jen

watch places for deals... walmart, zellers, old navy..... And look for different shirts... I bought my hubby a brown shirt with striped tan sleeves, which looked great with the fort wilderness logo I transferred to it... The workers at the Fort even asked us where we bought the shirt because they wanted one... Hubby was proud to say "My wife made it!" lol

almost forgot.... I highly reccommend the dark tshirt transfers over the light ones... They are awesome even on white or light shirts... The colours show truer!! and last longer... I've washed my hubbys three Disney shirts I've made and they are still exactly the same... No wear from the washer or dryer!!
