Kind of OT - bra question

I'm looking at moisture wicking bras for our Disney trip and to use throughout the summer. I'm fairly well endowed and despise having a damp bra on. Didn't even realize they made wicking ones until a recent Travelsmith catalog had them.

Here's my dilemma: Do I order 2 or 3? Our plan is to do rope drop, come back to the condo for pool / down time, and then go back. I'm wondering if I'll need to put on a second bra in the afternoon after the pool. In that case, I'll need 3, to give the first two time to dry before I wear them again. But if I don't get too sweaty, I won't need to do that.

WWYD?

Have you looked at Breezies on QVC? They are suppose to have the wicking inside of the bra and they keep you cool and dry. I have tried them a while ago and they seemed to work really well. You might want to price them and look at the customer reviews. Hope this helps. :)

I hadn't seen those yet, but the reviews are uneven, and the underwires seem to be poorly rated.

I'm looking at the Moving Comfort mesh bras at Pathfinder. They are well reviewed and decently priced. I hope I like them - summers can be just miserable in the KY humidity.

I'm ordering 2, and if I like them, I'll order another. I have 3 wks 'til our trip, so that s/b plenty of time to get a second order.

Gosh I bring like 5 or 6. Sometimes it takes a while to dry with the humidity. I like the non wire cotton ones from Lane Bryant. right now they are buy 1 get 1/2 second. I also change my socks.

OMG - I don't even HAVE 5-6 bras!!! :lmao:

Just wanted to add - you can always use deorderant underneath to help with sweating. I don't have a need for it, but my sister does it. :thumbsup2

Interesting suggestion. I'm already doing that for my feet when I wear certain sandals, but I never would have thought of it for the girls.

Bras are serious business for me too! I'll be nursing on our upcoming trip in Oct. so this is extra serious this go around! :rotfl2: If my past babies were any prediction... this could get very ugly!!

I bring 4 bras when we go for a week. I have no problem washing them in the sink each night and laying them on the airconditioning vent to dry. They always dry overnight, but it's nice to have the extras for after swimming or if we go back to the park in the evenings.

I can second the idea of using deodorant/Anti-Pers. under the girls. It does keep things less sticky in that FL humidity! Also keeps the underwire from digging in as much since it stays drier.

hmmm, I never thought to deo the ladies

Maybe I will spray them when I spray my feet (I hear it prevents blister :confused3 )

Actually if you don't mind sport bras, try Under Armor ones. They are expensive though but worth it.
The UA socks are great too.

I bring 3 bras with me. When I travel.

I have to agree with the PP on the cotton bras from Lane Bryant. They are super comfortable. I just got back from WDW and had 3 with me. I am also a fan of the deoderant for the girls!! Works like a charm!!

I've learned a lot here:

a) I overpack bras bigtime (I normally take all 7 of mine)
b) you can put deoderant on your ****s and be normal
c) everyone has their own very favorite bra

LOL

Still trying to decide if I really want to spend $100 on 3 new bras right now. I'm wondering if I'll do just as well with my favorite Olgas and some deoderant. Guess I need to go to Walmart and see how well I do.

I do know I don't want a sports bra. I really don't like the uni**** look and that's exactly what I get with anything that isn't an underwire. Plus, that just makes the girls get waaaayyyy too cozy, and they sweat even more. Cotton might be worth a try though.

I'm really glad I posted this, b/c it gives me a less costly alternative to try. Thanks!

OH - spray deoderant or stick?

Okay, I could probably get away with not even wearing a bra and no one would notice, but I sweat a lot---head, back and "chest" sweat. I hate damp wet bras too but haven't really done anything about it. I like the deodorant idea and has anyone tried baby powder or cornstarch?

I love the Lily of France sports bra! They are so comfortable and they have underwire that are on the outside, so they don't poke. They also make "me" look amazing!! :rotfl:

I tried baby powder last year, and it didn't work too well. Part way thru the day it felt like my skin was peeling off, I had little clumps of powder on my chest!:scared:Icky! I now am a convert to the deodorant under the girls. I use one of the new perscription strenght ones, and it works great!

I buy the cotton bras from Lane Bryant too. In fact, I plan on getting some after I get paid Friday so that I have a bunch to pack for my Disney trip in July. I figure I will want a bunch along then.
