Kind of dumb DVC question - do I need insurance?

We just got our closing papers from Jaki and **** today! YAY!!

As I was filling them out and getting them ready to send back, it occurred to me do I need to buy insurance for my DVC "unit"? I know I would for something more tangible like a lakehouse or something and I know some people buy something similar to traveler's insurance. I guess what I'm asking is do we need to buy homeowners insurance or renters insurance on my DVC points??

Maint fees covers the insurance......not to sure about pulling a personel policy though......

Property and Liability insurance is included in the dues.

You can choose to buy travel insurance, DVC sends a brochure with every reservation.
