I'm about 4 hours from mom & dads....using my time wisely catching up on journals!

Honestly, I don't know how you stick with running! I've tried, I've REALLY tried, but I just don't like it. I have stuck with interval training, but solid running is still a dream. Way to go!!

Hey guys - I posted some more on my trip report tonight - only one more installment to go!

Anyway, Jen - thanks for asking about my grandmom. I recieved the news I've been dreading. She's not doing well at all. She's given up. I honestly can't say that I blame her. She's been through SO much and it's gotta stink to get old, be lonely, and constantly break your bones, and heal them. At this point, they are trying to keep her comfortable. They've stopped getting her out of bed for physical therapy and they are just going to keep her comfortable. She's not eating or drinking very much at all, so they said it's basically a matter of time.

I just want her to find peace, and to not suffer. Thank you so much for your prayers and thoughts for her over this past year guys. I appreciate them so much!

Thanks, guys for your thoughts. A bit of a change today. She was moved to a nursing home. While she was in the hospital her original nursing home closed (we knew it was coming) so now she's been released to a new facility in MY town! They still can't do much for her, but I'm hoping maybe her mood will improve when she sees some of her old friends.

Bad news guys. My grandmom only lasted at the new nursing home for less than a day. She's back in the hospital. I went to see her tonight with my sisters and it was SO hard. She's not doing well at all. She's swelling up and just in pain all over. ugh, just typing this is hard.

I had a mini-breakdown in the car this afternoon, after I left work & before I picked up the kids. I'm just not in a good place right now. Please, please, please pray for my family.
