I was at a wedding show this weekend at a pretty prominent hotel in town....and I had some time to kill....so I wandered around the gift shop.....and I found something for Kim.....it's something I've been looking for....and something I know she'll appreciate (being the Elvis fan that she is and all...... ) so I had to get it....can't wait til she gets back from WDW

It was a great week! I ate bad and didn't run at all. But back on track tomorrow!! I'm looking forward to running again. I hope that I can make it. I seem to have developed a really nasty cough, but I'm gonna try anyway.

I'm hoping to download some pictures tonight, so I'll share some and maybe a mini-trip report very soon!

I know what it is....you're sending me some kind of JUNGLE BABIES!! Didn't Elvis sing an appropriate song....."RETURN TO SENDER"!!!!

Well, unfortunately, I don't see a run in my near future...I'm hoping I can get out there this weekend. Right now I'm having a hard time even holding a conversation without hacking up a lung. (sorry, TMI). I went to the doctor last night and he gave me an inhaler to use. Between that and the Robitussin DM, I slept like a baby for the first time in a week last night!!!

I registered my kids for the before/after school program today at lunch. They'll be using both a few days/week. It's really starting to sink in that my baby is going into kindergarten, and I'm starting a whole new phase of my life. BOTH kids in REAL school. Man...it's hard to take. DS has his kindergarten orientation next Wednesday where he meets his teachers and sees his classroom. I'm excited about that because I know that will make it all REAL for him. I have a few emotional days coming up, guys. Friday, Sept 1 is DS's last day ever of daycare. I'm really gonna miss that place & those people. And Thursday, Sept 7th is his first day of kindergarten. I was emotional with DD when she started school 3 years ago, but with DS (my baby and last child) I think I might be a big ol' mess!

OK, I finally got my pics to download (technologically challenged ). Before I show too many pics of the trip...I want to do a little comparison:

I know I have a sweatshirt on in the Dec picture, but you can just tell in my face the difference that 30 pounds makes with me! Even in my mood. I SO did not want to be in a picture last year. This year, I was like....somebody take my picture!!
