Hi Kim
hope you feel better soon, & i hope the leg is ok!
It must be so frustrating for someone as active as you to have to rest, but i think its for the best - hang in there.

Please, please, please listen to your body and to those who have advocated rest. I can't even begin to guess what the problem is, but I don't want you to learn the hard way and further injure yourself or inflame whatever injury/tenderness you have right now. It's better to take a couple weeks of rest than to get yourself sidelined for months (some of us have been that route.
It is NOT fun!)
and
Kim!
You know, when I'm not injured, I still don't feel "active". Still don't feel like I belong in the runner's conversations. I don't want to whine about it, but for you to call me active means a whole lot to me. So thanks.
I've missed ya, lady!
The one positive is that at least I'm not missing running just for a sinus infection.
Yeah, I'm a little wacky.

Kim! How's that sinus infection? Yuk! I hope you're feeling better and your knee is too. I think it's also good advice to stay as non-active until you see the Ortho. I know this must be so frustrationg.
I'm considering it a cleansing.

I'm glad to hear that you are starting to feel better.
