We arrived at the Food and Wine Building a little early, but we had to go to will call for our tickets. After the tickets, we shopped a little and went to wait on the line.

I took this one from the line. We were eyeing up the seats that we had when we saw Kevin Dundon, in front of the screen to the left facing the kitchen.

A little blurry. I took this from the front of the line. View from our seat:

We sat down and I took a photo of the kitchen from our seats. Then Noah French who is a pastry chef at The Sugar Mill in Denver CO came out.

This is Noah French starting to bake a 5 spice Streusel and Chocolate Jasmine Cream.
The woman is from Nicolas Feuillatte. She was talking about the Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rose Champagne from France, which was served with the pastry.

Another photo of Noah French.

Here is a photo of the finished product with chocolate ganache and 5 spice streusel crumbs on top. The crumbs were delish. I was a little confused during this demonstration. I think because there were so many steps that he explained concurrently. He went back to one while doing another. I enjoyed this demo, but I really liked the other Culinary Demonstration much better.
DD enjoyed this and the food. She thought Noah French was adorable!
She rated the cake 8/10.
It was around 4:00 when the Demonstration was finished. We had an ADR at Shulas at 5:00. We took one last look in the cook book area and headed for The Dolphin.
