kimonos

I always go there when I stay at the swan. The food is great and they have karaoke. Its usually kids but its still fun. Defiantly something to check out.

I go to Kimonos every trip. Is it the best sushi in the "World"? Well, there aren't many choices, only Cali Grill, Wolfgang Puck's and the new Japanese restaurant in Epcot.

That said, it is a fun atmosphere, particularly without children, if you go after Illuminations around 10:00 pm or so. It has a small sushi bar but you can order that menu from anywhere in the restaurant while people sing karaoke. The kobe beef/king crab rolls served on a blue sea salt and bee pollen sounds ridiculous but it's actually very good. The sushi lollipops and cones are always a fave. I wouldn't go here every visit unless I liked it.

Kimonos has fantastic sushi!

The karaoke doesn't start until 9, so you may or not have the pleasure:hippie:

Thanks everyone will be at Poly next week and DH and I love sushi. Do you need a reservation?

If you are at MK or AK, you can take a bus to the Swan. It's in the Swan. (How you get there depends on how you enter the resort, so ask when you enter.) If you are at MGM or Epcot you can take a boat. If you don't want to take the boat, you can also walk. The boat leaves from the International Gateway (the far side of Epcot). From MGM, the boat ramp is on the left as you exit the park, down by the water. The opposite from where the bus stops are located. We usualy walk from Epcot, but take the boat from MGM, as it's less scenic. If you are leaving from your resort, probably the fastest thing would be to go to the bus area of MK and take the Swan bus from there. If you take the Epcot monorail from TTC it will drop you off on the wrong end of Epcot. I'm pretty sure Kimonos is only open for dinner, though I think it's open fairly late. To get back to your resort, if it's not too late, you could go via MK, or DTD if it is late, or take a taxi.

We like Kimonos too, though it isn't super-inexpensive by our standards.
