I LOVE sushi and heard that this is a good place to get it. I checked the prices and they seem very reasonable. Now the problem..........DS will not eat it. We are staying at the Swan in May and I have a feeling I may live on sushi since it is so close. Is there a way to get it to go so DS doesn't have to sit and wait for me? We've eaten at Guliver's and I remember seeing Kimonos, but I don't remember an actual "sushi bar". Is it inside of Kimonos or is it actually Kimonos the restaurant that is the "sushi bar"? Anyone who has eaten there, please post your experience. :)

Kimonos is a Karaoke place in the Swan - not sure about the hours it is open - but yes there is sushi there - also they will make vegetable sushi - the karaoke is at night

Hi,

There is a proper sushi bar just on the left as you enter where you can sit in front of the sushi chefs and enjoy.

The sushi is also available at tables all around the lounge. You might be okay here with your son as there are other things that can be ordered. They are "appetizer" portions but you can get gyoza (dumplings), beef teriyaki, tempura, seared scallops, rice etc. Perhaps he might like some of those things?

Not sure about take out but everyone is so accomodating down there I wouldn't be surprised...

Thank you for the responses. Maybe I will send DS over to Tubbi's the first time I go to Kimono's if we don't find something for him to eat. He's finally old enough, and has been to WDW enough, that I can let him do some things on his own. (atleast there is something good about getting older ;))
