Kimonos For A Group

Im planning a group dinner at Kimonos during the weekend of the Princess Half Marathon - but Ive never been so I'm kind of doing this blind. If I'm counting correctly there will be about 10 of us. I know you can't make a WDW ADR there but I did notice a group reservation page on Kimono's website - but its for groups of 12 or more.

The plan is to get there at 5:30 when Kimonos opens so that we can get to bed pretty early since all of us are running or cheering for the 5k the next morning.

Sound good? Any suggestions?

Kimono's shouldn't get crowded when they first open. You really should be able to either show up and get seated, or make a reservation ahead of time for your party size.

None of the Swan/Dolphin restaurants are on the dining plan, so there's not a high demand artificially created. It might attract more crowds later when karaoke starts, but you'd be in and out before that happens if you go when they first open.
