At epcot at japan they sell kimono's and i was wondering if anyone got one to! I got a beautiful green one with the obi! the obi is the wrap that goes around.:goodvibes

yes, i have a kimono.
i actually bought the kimono itself in japantown in san francisco, and when i got to epcot i bought the obi, tabi socks and the wooden geta shoes. im slowly collecting pieces to complete the whole look. my kimono is red with flying cranes and white to pink clouds and the obi is two different color yellow checkers with the bow in the back. i love it dearly.

i actually just adore the art of kimono and have been studying it for a few years now.

How much were they?

the ones at epcot all depend on the type of material. if you get the faux silk ones that feel like a sleep robe, its probably going to cost you anywhere between $50-$80.

my japanese silk kimono wasn't purchased there, but was a little over $100. i would assume the silk kimono are about the same at epcot as well.

the obi's are a good $50 and the shoes are just about there as well.

I have one i bought at epcot, It's not exactly perfect but at least I have on. Mine cost around $60, I'd like a real one though.
