Did anybody else see one of our DISers on Live with Regis & Kelly this morning?? They showed the picture of her with her family at WDW. It's the same picture as her siggy -- that's the way I knew it was her!!

I hope she got to see it - or at least Tivo'd it! Anybody else been on TV from the DIS???

Ah yes, my numerous ( ) television credits include two or three appearances on a public tv high-school academic bowl-type show when I was but a kid in Virginia.

There may have been a few shots of me on CBS last Spring. They covered the NCAA Fencing Championships. I didn't see a tape, so I don't know for sure.

The fiancée and I were also on TV this past summer advertising for the production of Henry V that we were in.

Oh yes, as I have just been reminded by my beautiful fiancée ("dumb face! what about when you were on Regis?!! ") I was on Regis once.

He donated money to Notre Dame to build a black box theatre in the new performing arts center. I was in a production of Fortinbras last Autumn. During rehearsal one day he came in to do a little segment, asked me and the lead, my friend Mike, about school, the play, the theatre, etc. Regis seemed most interesting in all the good lighting.

A black box is essentially a very sophisticated empty room that you can reconfigure anyway that you want. So if you just walk into one it's kind of unimpressive when you don't know what to look for.

On the way out of the theatre we managed to just hear Regis's wife ask, "You payed all that money for an empty room?"

They must have sent in a Christmas card with the family picture on it and Regis held it up for the camera... they did it with a few cards but I only recognized one.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! I didn't even know that it was on!!!! I sent in a christmas card of us about a month ago, and forgot about it. I wasn't watching this morning because I was at JURY DUTY!!!!!!!! If anyone has a copy of it, I would love to see it. If it wasn't for you guys, I would never have known we were on TV!!!

I didn't Tivo it either - sorry! But if you were to call the show (or look online) and tell them you want a video of today's show (and why) maybe they can help you out. If it wasn't the picture in your signature, I don't think I would've realized it was you. They also said your hometown but didn't mention your names. Try and get a copy.

I didnt recognize you at the time, but now seeing your signature, I remember the picture. I sent ours in, its of my DS's in their suits on formal night on the Magic, with the back drop of the ship. I thought they might have made it today with all the vacation pictures, but no luck.

In fact I always DVR Regis & Kelly (in case I get called for the trivia game I can watch the show while I'm waiting to be asked my question )

Anyway, when I saw it I told DH, "Wow, look how empty MK is - how did that happen. Geez, maybe it's not the MK, but just a back drop", so I rewound to rewatch & DH said, "Nope, that's the MK, it's just empty!!"
