Before you get the Kimmunicator (a Motorolla i870 cell phone with a heavy GPS locator and alarm on it) you have to give CC info or your room key with charging privlages info. You are told you have to return it by 630pm or you will be charged the $200 for it. The Allears page has pictures.

The CM approached us when we were walking past the "Leave a Legacy" on the right side. We got to the park when it opened. The CM was wearing a blue shirt and carrying a clipboard.

I'm sorry it was the left side of the legacy. I always get my right and left mixed up

We did it too, you don't have to be there first thing. We got there at 11 and they scheduled us for 2:00. They are right by where you pay for the leave a legacy, upon walking in they are on the right of the ball.
My kids had a lot of fun with this, it was long though. Took us about 2 hours with a break inbetween. It was really hot out so maybe that's what did it, but we did finish it and got the pin. It was cute and something different to do in Epcot.
