KILT sighting @ Gay Days 2010

Anyone Kilt wearers out there? A few of us are bringing our Kilts, to hang out Sat Night. And maybe for the "Drink Along @ EPCOT" on Sunday.
No knee high Kilt socks.

I have a Grand Kilt, but I refuse to wear 9 yards of wool in the middle of Summer in Orlando....

The only other kilt I have is leather, and again...not in Summer in Orlando....

Yikes 9 yards, don't know about leather kilt esp in summer. But now GypsyBear, I am wondering what did my Scottish ancestors do in the summer?

Well, "everyone" knows that a proper Scotsman doesn't wear that sporran for no reason...

There used to be a small group of men at Gay Day in MK who all wore kilts.

Leather, being a natural material can actually be quite cool in the summer. Depends upon the type though. I used to have a Faire outfit that was leather (for the most part) and was quite comfortable in the summer. It was a soft pliable deerskin...

Besides, what do you think those mister fans are for, anyway?

Disrespect to kilt wearers? Not from us. I actually find full highland dress pretty impressive. Wearing a kilt in a more casual manner, or a utility kilt is pretty neat too. I've seen both at WDW quite often.

Attended a wedding where the groom was in full highland dress. He was nicer looking than the bride! (Seriously)!

My family are Scottish and I do own a Kilt. Nothing is worn under my kilt, it's all in perfect working order

Yes, I am going to bring at least two kilts; one for Friday night "nice dinner" and going out, and a lightweight "Sport Kilt" for the Sunday drink along. If anyone else wants to wear...please do!!

Speaking of kilts, I saw Off Kilter today! They had a new fiddler, Jordan. I'm normally not one for red heads but he was a cutie!! He can rosin up my bow any time!!
