Nearby the airport? Not really. And catching a taxi there and back would probably run you around $50.00 Do you have a "2 hr window" from when the plane is scheduled to land before the all aboard? That's cutting it a little close, as the trip from the airport to port takes about an hour, with good traffic. If there are any traffic issues you could be delayed.
Thanks! We may just see what our mood is when we get there. We have husband, myself and 14 year old daughter. I'm fine with relaxing in the Florida sun and watching the planes but wasn't sure if there was a "must do".
We land in Orlando around 2 pm on the day before our cruise. We are staying at MCO Hyatt and were wondering what would be recommended for the afternoon/evening. We've done WDW and are not interested in going back to that. I know the Hyatt has a pool, and we can eat in the airport, but what other options would you suggest?
I'm not sure when you're going to be here, but they're currently building a shopping/restaurant complex right by the airport if you don't want to head into the attractions area.
There's also a movie theater there as well. There are actually quite a few restaurants just by the airport (mostly chains, but some decent ones).
