Wow!! Some storms yesterday. Sturgis (10 miles away) had a tornado touchdown. Two people died in two separate incidents where trees fell on their cars. St Joseph county was in a state of emergency until 9 today.
It just came up so fast!!! One minute it was bright (although cloudy), then all of a sudden it was black with winds of about 50 mph here. The kids all had to go into their "tornado positions" which had Destiny crying (althgouh she tells me 3 other kids in her class were crying, too).
I scrambled with the baby and Selena down in the basement. Fortunately, Selena wasn't too scared. We're supposed to get more storms tonight....hopefully not as severe, though!
