Whatever you prefer.
I don't really mean it.
But I need therapy.
Mainstream is so gosh darn catchy.
I right now need to listen to :

London Bridges - Fergie
Deja Vu - Beyonce Ft. Jay-Z
The Rush - Aly & AJ

NUMBER 1 problem?
I hate all of these songs.
But they're soooo catchy.
I need help.
I need some sort of alternativeee.

I feel your pain.

I hate p!atd and fob with a passion but their songs always get so stuck in my head.

Right now I'm listening to Motley Crue-Girls Girls Girls.

It might get stuck in my head, but I don't really mind. lol

FOB? That's awful. I wouldn't be able to live with that stuff in my head.
P!ATD was a faze I liked and I listened to them, now the songs to me sound dreadfully old.

I really need some therapy, Fergie doesn't make quality music, I don't like it, but yet I still dance to it.
I think I might be in denial or something.

I usually end up banging my head against a wall or something to get the FOB out.

that's a good technique.
i'll try that next time.
for now, i'll listen to some Billy Joel ^__^

i like p!atd. ughhh... now i have london bridges stuck in my head. i also get milkshakes stuck in my head. ahhhh! i am know going to bang my head on a wall. bang. bang. bang.

Turn the radio off, or at least switch stations. That's my advice. I'm doing very well at not following the mainstream by doing that.

Gah... I'm a mainstream person... Well, old stuff. Like around 1990s. London Bridge=Crap+Me=Stuck I try to stay away from mainstream, but some songs are too awesome!

I don't listen to stations with songs that annoy the crap out of me...in fact, it is difficult to find any station that plays the music variety I like lol.

I absolutely hate the song London Bridge, though it was stuck in my head the past couple days. Don't ask me how it got there, it just did. lol. I had to play Poison and the RHCP several times just to ease the pain on my brain! LOL.

Two great songs btw, "Every Rose Has its Thorn" and "Dani California" lol, gets those nasty songs clear out of your head in no time! :thumbsup2 lol.

sometimes, im in the mood for mainstream music.

but i've gotta say, mtv has ruined fall out boy and panic. i have been listening for fob for about three years, and panic for about a year, and now all of a sudden everyone and their cousins love them.

That's what happenes with fame. :confused3

Honestly I try not to blame MTV for anything, except keeping bands from getting famous. If a band gets popular, it's their own fault.

Oh god, I know.
This is why I stay away from MTV.
Not that that really helps when you see a bunch of 10 year olds walking around the mall singing I Write Sins Not Tradgedies.

I look at those kids and start humming music that was popular when I was their age.

So basically, if I had started humming "All Star" or some Britney Spears song, it would have made it all better? lol

Uh I...I like the Top 40 list usually

Haha, does that make me a bad and conformed person?

I also like non-mainstream too...but you're right, some of those songs are just so darn catchy!!!!!!!!

Nah. I usually hum a rap-rock tune that was popular when I was 10 or so. I like having the peace of mind that, yes, we were rediculous, (one look at Fred Durst says it all), but we were tougher than they are.

My friends complained about how their life sucked because of their parent's problems. I see these ten year old kids complaining about how their life sucks because they can't get a 360 or go to some concert. It's amazing how much has changed in simply five years or so.

.

Oh man, I think you might be wrong there...I mean, songs that sing about not being able to fit into those tight pants anymore and songs about hurting that fly are just too tough...I get shivers just thinking about it. Heck, I'm afraid to just turn the radio on because I know there will be a song about how eating a jellybean made someone fat and now they suffer from "fatness" at 100 lbs. "Ice Ice Baby", "U Can't Touch This", "Devil's Haircut" and "Voodoo" are weak and pathetic crybaby songs that simply can't compare to today's outrageous music.
