I have no idea how, but on a whim, while checking availability in general today, 5 nights popped up for our trip today and I actually got them. The exact days I needed, and thought would be something we’d never get to experience. We’ve never stayed club level, or at Jambo. Where are the studios located? Are they all savanna view?

All five of the club level 2BR lock-offs (which can be 5 studios and 5 1BRs) are on the sixth floor of Jambo directly above the lobby; that is the only place there is a sixth floor (5 is the highest floor elsewhere). Two face the pool and have no savanna view. Three (one of which is HA) face the very end of the Sunset Savanna where views are not great including because animals do not always go there and because there is a roof overhang that partly blocks view from the room balconies. Plain fact is that if you want a good savanna view, then don't get club level but instead a savanna view room; if instead you want club level services, a lounge that you can visit for food and drink (mostly finger foods and appetizer type food), and daily room cleaning service, then get a club level room.

For us we did it a couple of times and the novelty wore off. The CL lounge serves the entire resort and people would fill plates up and take the drinks back to their rooms. The CM's may or may not refill the offerings or they take time to do so. Also the offerings have a time table so if you want best pickings, get there early and not towards the end prior to the next rotation. Daily room cleaning was no big deal, view from the rooms were pretty poor and IMO they gave those rooms to DVC due to the poor views, they don't want to get paying guests upset.

You need to give it a try and decide for yourself and FYI, room requests are not accepted for those rooms.

If you're people who like to leave the hotel early in the morning to get to the parks, make sure you know the lounge hours so you aren't counting on getting food before it's set out. (I can't remember if this was an issue for people at AKL Club Level or at Universal hotels club level.) Same thing if you are people who like to stay at the parks late and are counting on getting a snack when you get back to the hotel.

Breakfast begins at 7am in the lounge although beverages are available at 6:30am. When you check in, you will receive a folder which includes the hours. Service ends at ten pm.

We love Kilimanjaro club. Love the roof overhangs which make it seem even more like an African lodge to me. Love the convenience of the lounge and the friendly and helpful CMs who staff it. I actually have had as much luck seeing animals from the savannah view villas there as from other Jumbo house rooms we had in the past. Not as many animals as our one time in Kidani, however.

I actually don't think there are any accessible studios in KC. Two of the one BR are accessible but only one of those has a rollin shower. The other has handrails in the tub and by the water closet. We've had the first as a 2 BR one time and I know the connecting studio didn't have a rollin shower and am pretty certain it did not even have had rails by the toilet. The bed was also high.

Thanks. We are excited because we’ve never stayed club level anywhere. We were just at kidani with a savanna view in September, and saw a ton of animals, so I don’t really care too much about seeing them, just wondered what the views were. Since buying DVC we have been going more often and find ourselves spending more time at the resort than the parks, especially during spring break. So i am looking forward to having a place to relax.

With that attitude, I think you will love your stay!
