Kilimanjaro Club Lounge Closure?

I apologize if there is already a thread on this but I didn't see anything. I have seen a few sites that have a closure listed for: Kilimanjaro Club Lounge- closed 1/11/2016- 2/5/2016. This is obviously not on the Disney or DVC site at all. I have a reservation that falls in this range, and I was wondering if you all thought it best to call DVC about this now, or to wait until something is posted? I obviously do not want to spend club level points if the lounge is closed, also as the DVC rooms are on the same floor I am concerned about other potential issues such as noise.

My guess is that they will have a lounge set up somewhere, they can't book CL reservations and not have a CL.

As far as the 6th floor rooms, they will either relocate you to the 5th floor or provide a path to the elevators on the 6th floor.

We once had our CL villa, booked through DVC on the 5th floor, not on the 6th. We had access to the lounge, everything was fine. I am surprised you haven't received a notice from them. I would call if I was concerned.

Interesting..... maybe because the regular 6th floor room was taken out of inventory for a "deep cleaning" or "scheduled for maintenance". lol.
