I don't know about the bug zapping, those little guys probably thought they were coming to your party to have fun too, but then ZAP!, the fun is over. Maybe that is all of your plot, invite Drake over for a little zapping...

Come to the party, Drake! There will be no zapping of anything but bugs. Just stay away from monkeyboy and the river....
