We want to book a sit down (not buffet) TS breakfast for a non-park day. We are staying at POP, so it needs to be easy to get to using the Disney buses (don't want the kids gnawing their arms off from hunger before we get there) .:lmao:
Kona, Grand Floridian Cafe and the Wave all have yummy looking adult meals, but the kids menus seem kind of blah (we are on the dining plan). My kids are big breakfast eaters and would like some thing a little more interesting. Any suggestions?

Not sure if you would interested in this one or not but - we LOVED the character breakfast at 'Ohana! It is a sit down meal served Family Style - which means no getting up for a buffet!! The characters are Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch and the food is AWESOME!!!!! Check HERE for the menu!! :goodvibes

What about Whispering Canyon Cafe? They have the all-you can eat breakfast skillet (brought to your table, so not buffet) it is available for kids also. It has scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, sausage, waffles and breakfast buicuits. They have other menu items available if someone didnt want the skillet they can order something else off the menu. We have done breakfast there once and all the food in the all-you-can eat skillet was very good. WCC is a fun restaurant for any meal!

I agree with both the PP's. Looking over allears there are a lot of breakfast buffets. Finding one that isn't was difficult. Most were blah, like Wave, & GF cafe did seem plain.

I would go wih the Ohana for breakfast. It should be a nice thing for the kids, plus somewhat easier to get to from Pop. Since you can't take a bus from a hotel to another hotel, you can head to MK, then get on the monorail for the Poly.

O'hana breakfast is fantastic. Plus the kids will probably enjoy the characters. It's our favorite breakfast now.

Hmmm.... I hadn't considered either because we are already eating dinner at BOTH of them!!!
I was hoping for a something a little "fnncy" as a different meal. We are eating a TS meal at dinner that night as well (long story) so quantities aren't that important, just really good, different food.

Is WCC as much "Fun" at breakfast as at dinner? We are looking forward to all the antics, the pony rides, etc.

We ate breakfast @ WCC when we stayed at WL in 2009. It was just okay. I wouldn't go all the way there for a meal again unless we were staying there. Nothing bad, just didn't blow my socks off! 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast on the other hand..... :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I know you said you are eating dinner there but breakfast is definitely a must do now for our family!!! The juice alone gets my vote!!! It really is a great breakfast!!! The kids get to participate in a parade around the restaurant with Mickey and the rest of the characters!!! Waaaaayyyyyy fun!!!

I am sure that whatever you decide you will enjoy a lovely breakfast with your family!! Good Luck!! It IS a difficult choice! :goodvibes
