Kids swimming costumes at WDW?

Hi, I was wondering if they was a big range of kids swimming costumes to buy at WDW, as my 5 year old DD wants a Disney one and I would like to know if we would definitely be able to get one from WDW, we can't get one for her age at the Disney store, though I am sure they do them, they must of sold out of her age.

Will they do them in the resort shop? we are staying at POR or would we be better of going to DTD?

I have to say my DD4 has a lovely Ariel one from H&M that was a really good price - they still have it in there as I saw it the other day (am thinking about getting it in her next size as she loves it). You could get it and take it with you as a surprise.
Other than that they had a small range at Typhoon Lagoon but these were mainly other brands (*********** etc) although they had a couple of princess ones although I thought they were a bit OTT in style and price.
We went to the Florida Mall and the Disney store had a great sale and I got a pretty subtle princess one for my DD4 and a cute Minnie on the beach one for my DD21mo for about $12 - bargain.

They have Disney costumes in lots of shops in my town including Woolies, Boots, M&S & H&M.

They did sell them at Port Orleans in the resort shop too, but it's probably safer to buy one here in case they haven't got the right size at WDW in the resort shop, and you have to get one elsewhere and maybe miss out on a swim on the first night?

NEXT do a fab minnie mouse one...its in their directory but you can order it from any NEXT store. Delivery is quick. My DD 4 LOVES it!

Also try Adams,I bought my DD's from Next for her baby one which was red with white dots with minnie on,Then last year I bought her the Minnie Mouse one from Adams with matching sun hat.

My other Daughters Jasmine,Minnie mouse,Tinkerbell came from the Disney store.

But I do believe many shops now are selling disney themed costumes,even Asda George.
Sainsburys,tesco's,Next,Woolies,Adams etc....

She has the minnie one with dots on from next she has outgrown it now though hence the need for a new costume.

Woolworths do the dressup-swimsuit...I have seen an Aerial one, great if you want to cover up in the sun!

Beth - Shelby's got that one too! I got her a lovely one from Matalan this year, only about £5 and I got Harley some cute board shorts with Tigger on them, I think they were £6. Can't go wrong with that can you!

Nope you cant,thats a good price I cant wait to get round to buying the girls there's
I forgot about Matalan they also have a very good disney range in there too,lovely little Minnie T-shirts/Eeyore etc.

I've just been out and noticed that Matalan had quite a good Disney range of swimwear. They also have dressing up outfits much cheaper than in the Disney store.

Hi, I went to H&M,boots, M&S, Next and could not find any disney swiming costumes, went back to the Disney store and the only ones in her size were bikinis which is not really suitble, nothing else in her size, all for older kids, I guess the younger sizes are the most popular, in the end I had to get a non Disney one from next however I will keep my eye out for a Disney one still.
