kid's steak dinner substitutions at BoG

is it possible to get fries subbed for the kid's steak dinner at BoG? I don't see them as a side on any other kid's meal... are they generic fries with the adult steak?

We are doing the dessert party kind of close to dinner so hoping I can get my ravenous 9 year old to be happy with the kid's steak but it won't happen without fries on the side

Since the pommes frites are on the adult menu, I would think you can. It would be a completely different story if there weren't any in the restaurant at all...of course like all things restaurant and Disney based, it might depend on who is working that day and what mood they're in.

My daughter has never had a problem getting fries with the kid's meal steak. Last time we ate there was at the end of July.

thanks. I read a disney blog post from 2012 or something saying that you can always get fries with kids meals. Gonna save myself $22, lol.
