Kids Stay and Play FREE special..

I did a price quote with the kids stay and play code, and OMG it's such a great deal for us!! I would totally do it, but I can't go this year again.

I was wondering, have any of you seen this as a recurring special, such as free dining is typically offered between august and october, or buy 4/get 3.. etc. and we all know that it's not set in stone, but it's expected to be offered because it typically has been in the past.

Is the kids stay and play free code also an annual offering (at least in the last few years?) If so, I will plan on taking my kids next year during that special.

Again, I realise that this can always change and it could perhaps not be a choice next spring/summer, but I'm just wondering, off the record, if it might pop up again next year?

We were able to save the most amount of money with this promo, since we have four children!!! I have not seen this as a public code before. Last year we did the free dining. I also had the 40% code, but the FD was a better deal for us. I don't know if we could have gone back this year without the kids free deal.
6 nights, 7 day tickets is $1816 (for all six of us)!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!
I hope they offer this promo again next year.

Yes, this promo is definitely a biggie!! This would save me even more money than the Free Dining! I would LOVE to take advantage of this!! More than anything!! But I just can't do it this year.

But if we had, it would've been $1400 for me and the two kids to stay at a value with deluxe dining! Amazing!!

I just checked the rates and this is a better deal than free dinning so I'm gonna call when I get home and try and switch. I priced the promo and added regualr dinning. Dinnning is cheap for the kids. It's me and the five grandkids.

I booked the FD bounceback at ASMu Fam Suite for this coming August for $1,616.19 with one day park tickets for 1 adult five kids ages 3-7.

I thought the kids play stay free would get us more park days for not a lot more money so I priced it online and got $1,858.72 for the kids stay play free and I added the regualr dining because I already booked my ADR's.

CM said FD was a better deal and seamed to be pricing the kids stay and play with one day pass for $150 more than my orginal res. He said my current deal is better because I have a room discount and FD. I know that's not true.

I'm coming up with $1.858.72-$1,616.19= $241.83.

$281.483 for six park days instead of one park day. Am I doing something wrong or is the CM wrong?

Should I just rebook online and cancel the other FD res?

What do y'all think?

When I tried to price this out for you, I got around $2100 for 6 night stay, 6 day tickets, and dining plan with the kids stay for free offer.

If you have a Disney Visa, I thought I had heard they have a kids stay, play, and eat for free offer. I could be totally wrong though. I thought I saw this on the mousesavers website.

Well, in that case, I tried it out for you and got $1836.12 for 5 nights, 6 day tickets, and DDP for everyone. Of course, I'm sure your dates are different than the ones I used which may change the price.....but otherwise, this is the offer I saw.

I'm gonna try and not get all obsessive any more tonight. I will call again tomorrow and try to get a better CM who can help me change my res.

Probably a good plan. It's amazing how an answer can vary so dramatically from one CM to another. I hope you get one who knows what they're talking about when you call tomorrow!!

I think it is three children to one paying adult. We chose the family suite because it was only going to be $40 more than two value rooms. We would have had to pay trip insurance twice (for each room) and then they would not guarantee connecting rooms. We also wanted a kitchenette, so we opted for the family suite.

Just found out yesterday that this was incorrect! We were able to switch to two rooms at POP and add dining on one of the rooms and it was still cheaper than the ASMu Suite (including insurance!!) Cost of insurance is $66 per adult, so they divided ours from the suite and put it on the two rooms. CM also said that our rooms are "guaranteed connecting for families." The confirmation came through this morning and it is on the reservation that way as well. I am SO glad I called again! The kids are really excited about staying at POP.
I will miss the kitchenette, but having the dining makes up for it.

I hope they offer it again next year too! I'm not planning on going next year, but I only have another year before some of the grandkids start crossing over to adult rates. If I could get a similar rate for next year, we may just have to suck it up and go again!
