on the cartoons i used to watch as a kid there was ACTUAL stuff to be worried about, Ren & Stimpy for example.
But it didn't influence me in a negative way.
When you're a kid you don't understand what they are talking about.
Like Animaniacs for example, it was funny to me then, but it's funnier now because I actually GET the jokes.
Anyway, being 18 and understanding unnuendo & double entendres, i see nothing wrong with spongebob.
