like...."Can I use the dog as a tissue?".............ds has a wicked cold, just super sneezed as he was next to our lab, and asked that, he didn't want to walk back to the bathroom cause he feels so sick...............ummmm no, and not your sleeve either get a tissue......geez!

We were at Colonial Williamsburg. My youngest asked why the beds had curtains around them. I said, "To keep out the drafts." She said, "Mommy, there's no giraffes."

I've always wanted to do a cartoon of a little Colonial girl in her 4 poster bed, with a giraffe's head peeking in though the curtains.

This was a conversation I had with my 6 year old nephew last week:

DN: "Aunt Pigletz, if you're older than my dad how come you're not married
yet?"
Me: "I just haven't found the right person"
DN: "Why don't you just walk down the street and ask every boy you see to
marry you. Someone will say yes and then you can get married"
Me:
DN: "So, when are you going to get some kids?"

G1: Diamond! *holds up her Bratz doll covered in faux bling*
T: Uh..yes. Diamond starts with D.
G2: Daddy!
T: Daddy starts with D,too. I bet some of you have mommies and daddies whose names start with D also.
B1: My daddy's name starts with D!
T: What's your daddy's name?
B1:LARRY!

When my daughter was in first grade we got the dreaded "someone in your daughter's class has head lice" call. So that evening I got out a comb and started looking through her (very long, curly )hair. She says, "It's OK, Mom. The nurse checked me at school and I don't have head lights."
