"I really need to spend time with my family because all the stress and busyness in my life are really taking their toll on me."
My little one says....
"I really like spending time with you"
I say....
"I need to get the yard mowed and another room painted today so I can meet a couple of my coworkers for a quick round of golf after the soccer game on Saturday."
My little one says....
"I'm gonna go play"
I say....
"I love you, but we've really got to work on getting those grades up and you need to do a little better at not getting so upset when your sister picks on you"
My little one says....
"I love you"

"Time for me to make things a little less complicated"
My little one says....
"Complicated? What does that mean?"
