Kids rain ponchos at Disney - where to buy/how much?

I know this is a silly question - but I've gotten conflicting info. I was just about to buy the kids Disney ponchos from disneystore.com and got annoyed with the shipping costs . They are $7.95 on the website - is that how much they are at Disney World too? Are they easy to find? I don't want to be hunting around for them in the rain - but I'd also rather not pay shipping if we can easily pick them up for the same price when we get there .

you just ask for one at nearly any register at nearly any gift shop.

They regularly go on sale for $5.00 on the website. I buy them at the same time as our autograph books, and any other vacation items, as well as birthday or Christmas gifts. That way I get the free shipping too.

I would recommended getting them ASAP when you get to the parks. If you wait until it starts raining you will be frustrated.

I hate cheap ponchos so we buy them in parks (I know heaven forbid)

I buy them at the gift shops. They may not always be visible though. I think last year I paid 6-8? Some where in there.

Sometimes you have to ask the CM for them. They tend to keep them behind the counter in some places. I agree to pick one up as soon as possible.

We have never had trouble finding them at stores in the park. I usually bring a few from the dollar store, too.

Wait until there is a sale or something. Sometimes they will offer free shipping on Disney parks merchandise or 25% off Disney Parks merchandise. I bought mine then for $5 and snagged some other items as well (tshirts on sale, etc.) and hit the free shipping point.

One thought: Some kids hate ponchos. They feel different and can be restricting to their movement. We bought a slightly over sized kids disney themed rain coat that lasted for several trips and DS was much happier. I bought co-sign but have seen them a lot of places including Wal-mart.
