Kids races

I need some help with my planning..

Both of my kids are in the kids races that are scheduled on Friday from 11-12:30. They want the kids lined up by 10:45. How early should we leave the Poly for this?

Are you picking up their race numbers on Thursday? If not, and you are picking them up before the race, you will want to allow extra time for that. In that case I would say leave around 9:30, to be safe. If you are picking up their numbers on Thursday, maybe you could get away with 9:45.

I agree with Brian, leave an hour before to assure that you catch a bus and get back into the complex with enough time.

Though I think I would add 30 min for packet pickup if doing Friday morning. Should not need that time but one can never tell.

Thanks guys for the quick replies.

We will be picking up all packets on Thursday afternoon so just heading over for their races.. I guess the buses run pretty frequently back and forth from the resorts to the WWS? Are they shared buses as well? We are staying at the POLY and trying to guesstimate if my parents will arrive in time to catch us over at WWS. Their flight lands at MCO @ 8.23 and assuming all goes well, etc. I wonder if they will have a chance of getting to the POLY and jumping onto the next bus to the WWS and being there close to 11:00ish...

Shared bussing from the Poly? I am thinking that it does share with GF. The hour guess is based on you just missing the bus, 20 minutes wait, 20 minutes travel and 20 minutes to get to the back of WWoS

For you parents it depands on their travel from MCO to Poly/WWoS. If they are going via DME then more than likely no. I find that DME is rather slow in trade for the cost. On a trip over assuming on time arrival the leave MCO at 9:30 or so, maybe. Then 45-60 minutes to the Poly makes it 10:15. Then they would be on the same turn as you needed about an hour, assuming no check in at the Poly.

If renting, then they leave MCO around 9:15 and are at WWos by 10 at the latest.
