All the ponchos at the dollar store are adult sized...anyone know where to find kid sizes, cheap?

How dry do they really keep the kids? We adults know to cinch up our hoodie or sit a certain way....kids - not so much.

They are not dollar cheap - but cheaper than DLR - we have gotten some kid-size ponchos at WalMart in the accessories section, right near the umbrellas. They come with a matching little holder that you can fold them up into when they are dry enough and usually come in fun colors. They are a little shorter and less wide.

ditto!! I picked up 3 and there nice and thick and pretty nice for under 3.00 :) ( thats what I paid for them. )

I take scissors to the Dollar Tree variety before we go since they are so much lighter and can be squished smaller than any other brand.

I've used the dollar store ones on a kid as well. What we did was tie each bottom corner in a knot to shorten the poncho. Worked just fine for 5 days of rain at WDW. And they fold up so nice and small!

We bought the kids those cheap raincoats that they have at Target. At our Target, they are with the underwear, socks, etc..

We bought them last spring on clearance for $4 each. They are lightweight and held up well.

I have some cheap ponchos that were kid sized from Dollar Tree, but they are so flimsy, that they kept getting torn up. It worked out better for us to have the raincoats.

Thats where we got ours from when we went in the spring, earlier this year. As an emergency tho, I didn't find them to be overly priced.

I hated the dollar store poncho's. there so flimsy that every time I turned around they would rip. The best ones we ever had were the ones we got at walmart, they fit in a tiny pouch and they have never ripped. we have used them many many times.
