Kid's picks fries option??

I was looking over the menus on allears and noticed that on the kid's menus if they get the kid's pick it says that fries are available on request. What gets removed if they want the fries? For example, if the app can be soup/veggies, then they get an entree and dessert can be fruit cup/sundae do they not get the soup/veggie?

Just trying to figure out how this works.

or grapes or something of the sort that comes with the entree. These will be replaced by the fries.

Thanks! My son is big into fruits/veggies, but my daughter will probably want the fries! Poor girl has my eating habits

I don't know if this has changed, but if you ask for "no fries" and don't replace it with fruit, they will deduct $2 off the meal. This was good when I wanted my kids to share the fries, and it saved us some money. The last time we were there, my DD15 got the apple slices and she loved them - very surprised that they actually tasted fresh! I think you can also get a bag of mini carrots.
