Is it true that at a quick service restaurant, a kid can order an adult meal and it would count as their quick service?

My 18 month old isn't on the plan, obviously, but he eats a lot. Thought if we got my 5 yr old daughter a bigger meal, they could share.

When using the dining plan a child must order off the child menu if there is one available.

Mine are all big eaters, I know Im most likely going to be paying out of pocket for my 16 mo's meals at most places since I can't imagine any of them being filled enough to share with her.

Closing, as it is the policy of the Restaurant board to close threads discussing use of dining credits that is not specified in Disney's dining plan literature (which states children age 3-9 must order from the children's menu where one exists - including at CS)
