kids on different reservation

We're in the Deluxe Family Oceanview room with the pull down bunk, so it definitely sleeps 4.

Not all of them sleep 4. Here is a list I compiled from reports here and attempting to book on DCL's site.

If you have two in-laws cruising with you, there wasn't any cost savings to booking one of your kids in the room with them. That only happens if only one person would be cruising and would be charged the single rate of 200%.

We're in 9662. It sleeps 4.

Do you know that it has a bunk from staying in that room before? Checking because no one has confirmed if this room has a bunk or murphy bed yet.

Just link the reservations. You will not have any issue as to who sleeps where, you can even get key cards for the other room (without charging). If you like, you can have yourself designated as financially responsible for your child rather than your in-laws. You will have no issues exiting the ship with your own child or taking your own child to the kids' club. If you link the reservations you can book excursions for yourself and for anyone in the other stateroom, even if it's just your daughter.

Call DCL and give them the two confirmation numbers and tell them you want those reservations linked.

There may not be a review of this room on disboards, but you can google it and there is plenty of information on other sites including a woman who has a blog with photos of a pull down bed with room for 4 people to sleep. I've also confirmed it with Disney.

So yes, I'm sure.

I've googled for many of the rooms to get the confirmations from pictures. Either got tired of doing that by the time I got to this room or just didn't find it. Thanks!

I can't post links yet but there is a whole blog full of pictures of this room at a blog called The Doll Street Journal: A Room with A View from April 15, 2013.

I googled DIsney Fantasy 9662 and looked at images and it was the first one.

We did something similar last year. My sister has 4 kids, and there are no normal rooms that sleep 6. So, I booked a reservation for myself, our parents, and one of her kids. She booked a reservation for her and her husband and the other 3. No problems at all! They were able to check in at the port without us, just explained that they were the parents, easy to confirm because the addresses matched. We didn't have to be involved in checking anyone into or out of the kids clubs or even registering for the kids clubs. They did their own excursions with their family of 6, were able to get on and off the ship without us being present. We were told that because they were the parents they could do whatever they wanted without us even though one of the kids was registered in our room. The kids even rotated who stayed in our room. We did have our reservations linked so no worries at all!
