Hmmm, I posted this earlier and I'm not sure what happened to it. Anywayyy, thought I would pass this along to those that have kids and will be in the area:

Madame Tussauds New York presents Kids' Night on Broadway, an audience development program of the League of American Theatres and Producers. On Kids' Night, children age 6-18 attend participating Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. Kids' Night on Broadway also includes family-friendly restaurant and parking discounts and a free pre-theatre party at Madame Tussauds.

The 2006 edition of Kids' Night on Broadway in New York will take place on January 31 and February 1, 2006.

Most shows have kid-friendly 7:00 p.m. curtain times on January 31.

Tickets will be available beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2005.

On Kids’ Night on Broadway, kids also get to dine for free at many fabulous Times Square restaurants, and parents get discounted parking rates.

And don't miss the pre-theatre party at Madame Tussauds on January 31 that features cool interactive activities, live performances, Broadway stars and more. On February 1, kids attending Kids Night on Broadway that evening will be admitted to Madam Tussauds for free.

We do this every year, thanks for posting it for those who don't. Its a great way for kids to get to see a Broadway show, and the pre show party is great, my favorite was when Donny Osmond sang. My dd got to dress up in the Les Miz costumes one year too and have her picture taken with the kids in the cast. If your kids love theater, this is a fun family night.

Humm, hope they add some more family "friendly" shows. We've seen Beauty & Mama Mia. I think many of the choices are not for a 6yo....

I was hoping Wicked would be on there We haven't seen Beauty yet and DS keeps hearing the commerical for it on the radio, so I'll probably buy tickets for that

The code works for Beauty right now! Front Row Orchestra center seats just came up for $50 each with the KNOB06 code.

This will be our first year so I'm not sure, but hopefully someone else knows. I bought our Beauty tickets before 10 on the ticketmaster site, so I'm sure you could probably purchase the other ones as well. Worth a shot before they are sold out. Last year they went quickly.

ETA, I see Bubba Gump Shrimp on the list. We ate there not too long ago and it's cute. It's themed from the movie Forrest Gump. Also, the wax museum is really neat. I'm not sure what the party consists of, but just looking at the wax celebrities is cool.

Got ours for Sweeny Todd for Feb. 1st! I was lucky enough to see this with Angela Lansbury a long time ago. This show is dark, not good for little ones, but my dd is 16 and it will be great for her to see Patti Lupone on Broadway.

I've been wanting to take my nieces to a show, but this is going to work for me--Tuesday/Wednesday nights are school nights. Mom & Dad might not want me taking them out late on a school night.

OK - finally got my tickets !

For anyone wanting Phantom tickets, you must call the Telecharge number directly. There is something wrong with the website and you can not order them online.

I got great seats, row J center orchestra for 1/31... I am so excited. 6 of us will be going: me, dh, 2 dd's, and I'm giving 1 ticket to my Mom (their Nana) and 1 ticket to their cousin for Christmas so they can come along !

Thank you so much to the op ... this is an outstanding deal ! DD played the theme to Phantom in her spring piano recital and has been dying to go see the play ever since!
