In 2005 we took ds to Blue Bayou when he was 21 months old. The kids menu was great! Lots of fun choices... like mini corn dogs & such.

I was looking on line at the menu and it really lacked kids choices... anyone been there recently? I'm starting to think we should eat at Bengal BBQ first and then do Blue Bayou for a fun dessert experience.

I also looked at Cafe Orleans and didn't see much for the kids there either aside from Mac & Cheese... so we might skip that one unless someone can tell me different.

Going out to eat with kids is hard work! If the food choices aren't there I would rather skip it kwim?

Seems like the kids choice have really changed in the last year or two. They are really trying to be more focused on healthy eating, which has really limited what they offer.

i dont mind healthy eating but they shouldn't take off other food they should just add the healthy stuff
Bengal BBQ is good an cheaper an then order a desert from bb thats what id suggest

I totally agree. I hate that they have taken the choice away from the customer. Healthy options are great, but on vacation I want choices!

I totally agree with you guys. Just because your child should eat grilled chicken with veggies doesnt meant my picky 2 year old will lol So I am extremely disappointed with their choices for kids...seems like things an older child would eat but not younger ones :(

I am truly blessed my DD has the palate of an adult...she tries to bribe us into taking her out for sushi! But my DS....::SIGH:: he's another matter. It must have carbs & cheese to be considered edible.

when we went to BB, DS got a toasted uncrustable PB&J....he loved it. It had bread & PB so he was happy. :) I understand your frustration however, that's why I went stocked w/ meal replacements just in case. Cereal bars, granola, raisins......if I was prepared it was smooth sailing. :)
