Kids Menus Question

We are leaving in 29 days!! (just had to say that) and I haven't been in 3 years. I was looking on allears at menus and it had a photo of updated kids menus. Well, on the menu was chicken strips, etc. but all served with carrot sticks and other stuff- no fries. I know I had read a while back something about these changes- going to healthier foods. That is fine, but my kids are going to want fries (and that is ok with me on vacation). Can you get fries everywhere with chicken fingers and burgers (at the counter service stands in the parks?)
TIA!

Yes, you can get fries. At the bottom of each kids menu it says fries and soft drinks available upon request. We're the same way with letting DD8 have fries on vacation and we didn't have any problem getting them.

Thanks CEDMom- that is what I figured- but wanted to make sure!

The kids meals chicken strips at TS are grilled chicken not fried chicken. At counter service places there are not burgers or chicken strips on the kids menus at all. There are a handful of places that serve chicken nuggets. We have to choose CS places very carefully because of the kids options.
