Kids meals

We have the basic DDP. It states that kids must order from the kids menu...so...when at a place like sunshine seasons and the kids offering is childs sub sandwhich with beverage...does my son get to select a dessert too? Or no? The kids meals there don't include desserts....so he gets to pick off the regular menu for that right?

Then, when at a place like the Electric Umbrella, the kids menu allows kids " a choice of two: applesauce, grapes, carrot sticks or fruit punch gelatin
and a beverage: 1% milk, bottled water or apple juice box" Is this considered to be dessert included or would he get to select a dessert in addition to the kids meal? My son will NOT be happy with grapes as dessert when we are eating brownies and pie!

Yes, the jello, applesauce, or grapes would be considered the childrens dessert option.

I think the sub sandwich at Sunshine Seasons comes with the same choice of two sides as the other kids meals elsewhere. They don't get to choose a dessert from the regular selection. In most places that's not a problem for us since we don't care much for the prepackaged desserts they have. Sunshine Seasons has some great desserts though. You might consider using a snack credit to get one for your son.
