Kids meals VS Kids Mickey Check meals?

Always confused but what is the difference. They are always broken up at TS dinners.
 
the mickey check meals meet specific nutritional guidelines (Which I'm sure you can get a copy of) when served complete and without substitutions. That doesn't mean that if there is a mickey check meal that is grilled chicken with ancient grains and fruit cup for dessert and a burger with fries and an ice cream sundae for dessert that you can't sub sides and desserts and get grilled chicken with fries and an ice cream sundae - it just no longer would meet the nutritional guidelines.
 
The last thing we are thinking about is nutritional values during vacation. :goodvibes Thanks for your help
 

Personally I think it's really helpful. My kids eat pretty healthy at home and now actually enjoy "healthier" foods more. I'd much rather have the option of grilled chicken with fruit for them...a week of breaded nuggets and fries would probably tear up their stomachs.
