Kids meals question

When you get a kids meal at the counter service places, does the milk come in a carton or a cup with a straw or what? Just trying to figure out if I'd need to bring a cup for my son. (He can't drink out of a carton and still struggles a bit with an open cup. He uses a straw cup at home.) I googled and couldn't find a photo of a kids meal with regular milk...all the photos seemed to have juice or chocolate milk.

I think the white milk is like the chocolate milk, but not 100% sure. Chocolate milk comes in a plastic container with a screw on lid, no straw at all. It was by Quick. We limit dairy in our home so our kids don't drink milk, but occasionally at Disney we have let them have chocolate milk. Quick service is all about handing things off quickly, and the milk doesn't come from the fountain so I'm sure it comes in some kind of container. I would just plan to bring a cup he's used to drinking out of.

Yeah, we'll have one for water. So maybe we'll just use that and rinse it in the bathroom or something afterwards. Kind of a pain but oh well. It's sometimes difficult to get all the milk rinsed out of the straw pieces though.

The milk carton is similar to below. I open the carton, put a straw in it, then close the carton.

The Chocolate milks are all plastic Nesquick bottles with screw top lids. honestly - my kids are 10 & 7, and still use them at the parks only. I buy the take & toss cups from Amazon ... we use them on the plane, I bring one for each kid into the parks each day, and we use those. Seriously - nothing's worse than a kid spilling that bottle of milk all over themself! On the plane, it's a lifesaver ... I can't tell you how many times the kids went to "just grab something" out of their bag, and the take & toss cup went flying. I like the take & toss cups because I can choose to wash them or throw them out. This is one of those items, we go into it knowing we'll spend $4-$10 on for the trip, and may end up throwing out so we don't have to deal with washing them, and they are cheap enough to not keep them, like a nicer, reusable water bottle. If they get lost? No biggie. We'll split drinks up in them all day for the kids - or bring a few water bottles & kool aid or ice tea singles & split that between them too in the take & toss cups.

We also buy the take & toss bowls - along with ziplocs, we carry a few into the park each day. Any small leftovers, we can keep for snacks later on. Just so easy to throw out if we're done with them.

I hadn't thought of bringing the bowls for any leftover snack type stuff. Smart thinking!

My son has some oral motor/eating issues so I'm not sure how he'd do with the spout on take n toss cups. I'll have to try them and see. They would be much easier to wash than the straw cups we use.
