Kids Meals for Adults

I am wondering which kids meals (QS) at WDW are decent enough sizes for adults.

This has nothing to do with cost, it is more of me wanting to try something new. I have been to most of the quick service restaurants at the parks and I am just ready to try something new. Except I am afraid that they won't satisfy my hunger. I've tried to look up pictures of the kids meals online, but pictures online don't show me it compared to a regular sized burger or whatever. I wouldn't want to buy the kids meal and then be hungry afterwards because it was too small.

So I am wondering which kids meals any of you have tried where it was actually a pretty decent size. I am most interested in the Cheese Empanada meal at La Cantina in Epcot. Since the adult meal took away the chips and now just has slaw, I am never getting that again.

You can get an adult sized portion of a kids meal. All you have to do is ask.

I think this only works at TS not CS. As for the OP question about La Cantina, it has been awhile but I think the kids mean is only one empanada and small amount of chips. If you are going to have some other snacks from WS then you might be fine.

You can get adult portions of kids meals anywhere. It doesn't matter if it's QS, CS, TS, you can do it anywhere. We just did this is January on our trip, so it can be done.

Cool I never heard about CS doing that only TS. :thumbsup2

Wonder how it would work with the OP since they have an adult portion of the dish she wants but she doesn't want to order it since it doesn't come with chips anymore?

Most of the kids meals will be big enough for adults as it usually comes with two sides. However Epcot seems to be hit or miss. I usually am full with the kids chicken nuggets and kids flat breads across property.

All of them are an appropriate amount of food for an adult & an inappropriate amount of food (too much) for a child, in my opinion. However, if cost is not the issue, just order adult meals. Or, for situations like the one at La Cantina, order two kids' meals. That's a wild amount of food, but it's the only way to get what you want.

Adults who order kids' meals generally do so because they are light eaters. This doesn't seem to be the case for you.

If I eat QS, kid's meals are all I eat. Nothing to do with money, they are just more than enough food for me. As a matter of fact, I tend to get fruit instead of a dessert and that ends up in my bag for later in the day.

For me it is big enough I'm 17 years old and I don't have the biggest appetite but I do like to eat when I'm at Disney.
