if you are an adult, can you order a kid's meal at a CS restaurant???

They don't ask who you are ordering for. How would they know know? And why would they care?
We did it everyday for lunch. I came to love my applesauce and grapes!

Yes you can. Also most of the sit downs will let you if you just explain that you can not finish a large meal. Have fun!

We did last summer b/c we really didn't want or need more food than a kids meal provided.

We took in a cooler backpack with waters and snacks in it, and ate out of it in between meals. Saved a lot of money that way!

Yes. An adult can order kid's meal at WDW counter service restaurants.

Yup.
I do that ALOT for bfast cuz their bfast meals are a great size at the hotels and stuff.

haha, i'm trying now to picture a counter service worker being like "excuse me- is this for you or a child. Can you please show me the kid?" :-)

Thanks for this info, I just added it to my notes. We will be down on Friday, can't wait!!!

A little off Topic-

Can 2 adults split an entree at a TS that you made an ADR for?

Glad to know they won't force us to buy adult plate for the 10 yr. old.

absolutely - but i don't know if you can do it on the dining plan. i would double check the rules on that, i think they are fairly strict, if you are using the dining plan.

(i don't know for sure because we've never used the dining plan.)

People split and share at table service restaurants all the time. No worries there. But if you are using the Disney Dining Plan, unless you pay for the kid's meal OOP (out of pocket) for the 10 year old, it will use one of the adult TS meal credits.

That's the only time you'd need to think carefully about buying kid's meals for kids 10+. If you're not on the dining plan, no worries there, either.
