We are hoping to have a Disney day during March Break and I need some food ideas.

We have Janes Toy Story chicken nuggets and I thought I might make Strawberry soup that dh loves, but I am lost for ideas.

There is no paticular food that says Disney to me, except of course Mickey waffles, but I can't make them (I couldn't do the Mickey shape and I don't have a waffler)

The kids are picky eaters to boot!

I would appreciate any help.

Have you eaten at Boma? If so, how about Frunch? I also have a recipe for "fake" Dole Whips that my kids love. How about Chef Mickey's mashed potatoes? Or the Root Beer Sweet Potatoes from H&V? There are several Disney versions of Bread Pudding too. Or Strawberry Banana Bread from WL? Something my kids love - and love to MAKE - is the Crisp Rice Sushi from the Contemporary. (think Rice Krispies treats)

I'm assuming you don't want to mess around with doing turkey legs, but I also have an imitation recipe for those. That's a lot of work though.

I have 2 Mac & Cheese recipes from Disney. One is from Jiko at AKL but it's pretty standard...just a mix of 4 cheeses in a roux. Here's the one from WL.

Tillamook Mac and Cheese with Maytag Crust
Artist Point, Disney's Wilderness Lodge
Serves 4
4 Tbsp Butter
3 Tbsp Flour
3 Cups Milk
1/2 Tsp Kosher Salt
1/4 Tsp White Pepper
1 Cup Shredded Tillamook Cheddar Cheese
4 Cups Cooked Pasta
1 Cup Maytag Bleu Cheese, crumbled
1/2 Cup Panko Japanese Bread Crumbs
1. Melt butter in a 1-quart saucepan over low heat. Whisk in flour, stirring to combine. Cook 2 to 3 minutes. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes more.
2. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Add shredded Tillamook cheddar and stir to incorporate evenly.
4. Preheat oven t 375 degrees F.
5. Pour sauce over cooked pasta, stir to coat and place in an oven-safe dish.
6. Combine crumbled Maytag bleu cheese and panko bread crumbs, and top the pasta.
7. Bake in oven at 375 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. Center should be hot and the topping golden brown.
