I finally gave the overalls a try, with help from instructions provided by Shamiki.
DD didn't want the pant legs super ruffly, but she did ask for a skirt to be attached. She loves the outfit. Normally she wouldn't wear overalls, but she told me last night that she loves wearing these and could I please make her a Rapunzel pair.....

Those are super cute!! Great job!

Are you wanting the bow pattern to add to the silhouette (for Minnie) or to make an applique to sew somewhere else on the material?

The bow pattern to add to the silhouette:) My DD is having a love affair with Minnie and Belle.

What I normally do is make a real bow and add it to a swing back pin. That way I can take it off when I wash the clothes. It's something different and gives it a different effect.

I used a pattern (McCall's M5034) to make this outfit for my DD6 and another outfit with a Mickey Head Fabric.

It is a Tunic style shirt and a pair of shorts. The other outfit I made Capri Pants. I got the fabric at JoAnn's.

She doesn't care for ruffly things. Which is disappointing to me because y'
all have posted some really cute things

Dreamer&Wisher, that turned out great. I really like the mickey head fabric. I may have to pick up some for ME.

Hi Everyone. I just wanted to say all of your Kids just look adorable in the Disney clothes, I loved dressing DD(10) all cutesy when she was little.

Does anyone have any ideas for the P& PP party for a 10yr old? I will have to order it because a) I can't sew and b) I don't have access to materials because I am in Okinawa, Japan.

I was thinking of a tshirt attached to a denim skirt...with a Pirate Mickey on the shirt. Any ideas where I could find someone to make it?

If you go to the Creative DISigns thread you will find some paterns that you can iron on shirts. I have a couple saved right now that I plan to use. I know that some of the people have shirt designs imbeded within their theads, so you have to look around.

I love this thread and childrens clothes. I have become inspired to attempt
some outfits myself but have been trying to find Mickey mouse/ Disney fabric.
Does anyone know of anyplace there is more of a selection other then Hancock Fabrics or JoAnns????

Our local Walmarts have several Disney type prints. i have seen the Tink, Pooh,Princess, and Nemo to name a few off hand.

This is a recent outfit that I made. My daughter is hooked on Ariel.

I believe I have seen some of those on Ebay! You are very talented!! Keep up the good work, I may have to order from you in the future!! :goodvibes jen

Castle Creations - the outfits are gorgeous!!!!!! You did an awesome job!!

Yes, I do sell on Ebay. I usually have at least one outfit listed. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to list my user id, but it's Irelandscastlecreations. Anyway, I do have an embroidery machine, but use a simple satin stitch for the appliques. I used to do more embroidery with the machine, but prefer a more homemade look, go figure...LOL. I try to make one of a kind outfits. I see a lot of Minnie, stuff that all looks the same to me. I love to sew and wish I only had more time to do it!! Lisa
