Kids Disney Boutique / Customs Clothes

I cannot imagine spending so much on them. I think buying the overalls and the time I involve is costly enough since they are only worn a handful of times. I really cannot imagine spending real cash on them, but then again, if I had unlimited income or more then maybe I could justify it. I just can't justify much over $20 per outfit (not boutique, just in general everyday wear).

Anyone know of any cute sailor-type patterns for a little girl? I want something for DD3 to wear on the first day of our cruise. I haven't looked through the "obvious" places (Simplicity, Butterick etc), but I just wanted to see if anyone had any cute ideas!

Thanks!

Hi, the one I use is, Simplicity 1982. Instead of shorts or capris, I made a ruffle skirt.

The picture all the way to the right, is an outfit I made using that pattern.
It's a big, file. You might have to scroll to the right to see it.

Obsesedwiththemouse - Did you make those boy's outfits? If you did I would love it if you would PM your ebay name. If you bought them can you PM who you got them from? I love those boy's outfits and they are so hard to find!!! Thanks!

Elisa - is that Aloha one long enough to be a dress w/out the pants? LOVE IT.....! My girls definitely need that for the cruise!

OMG my DH would KILL me if I paid that for clothes. :rotfl2: They are super cute though!!!!

My husband doesn't know and it's going to stay that way! ;)

For me, I think of it like this...My daughter will only be young once and when we go down to Disney, she is going to have THE most adorable outfits around. Yes, she will have matching painted shoes, matching jewelry, matching bows....In a few years, I will be glad that I got to dress her up. PLUS, I can always resell the outfit and get the majority of my money back, so it's a win-win situation!

Hi! No, I did not make the boys outfits. Aren't they too adorable!??! I love the airplane one! :cloud9: In fact, I am having the ebay seller make me an identical airplane top with ruffles for my daughter, so my kiddos will match for the plane ride! I will PM you in a few....

I agree completely! After having three boys and then, 13 years later, adopting our little girl... I'm going *way* over the top!!!!

BTW, I'd love to get the name of the seller for the painted shoes please!

Oh ladies I understand. And if I had the fund for that I'm sure DD4 would have the same things. ;)

Tink, I will PM you in a minute with the seller for the shoes...

Here's some pics!

love it all....I know, DH has no idea what I spend on Ebay on customs clothes....! I have seen many I would like, but since I need two (can't have one dd have an outfit and not the other) I try and stay in the lower range....!

could you pm me with the seller of the shoes as well and do you sell the bottlecap necklaces?

Thanks!

Hi Lily!

Nope, I don't make the necklaces either....I will PM for the shoes and necklaces.

Here's a few more pieces I found hiding in my daugther's closet...:rotfl:

I know, I love those bows too!

It's funny because I have a chart, YES AN ACTUAL CHART for my kids clothing for our upcoming Disney trip. For my daughter, each outfit has a pair of matching bows, shoes, necklace and bracelet. For my son, each outfit has a matching necklace and shoes.

Hi, :wave2: my name is Linda and I am Disney boutique custom clothing addict.....
