Here is the Airplane Princess dress.
Aimee!!! I LOVE this!!! WOW!
Let's hear it for brown sparkly fabric!

I feel like writing a poem:
Oh fabric so brown and sparkly,
You are so very very pretty.
Why do you hide and make me all panicy?
Don't you know ruffles are your destiny?
Thank you, thank you. I will accept paypal payments for royalties if you plan to use this poem in the future.
That is so beautiful. I have tears.
A-hem!! You live in Michigan because that's where your dear sister is.
You better just KNOCK IT OFF!!! My DH won't move to Florida, so Teresa can't either! Besides, we'd have to bring along my mom and dad, my brother, all the cousins, aunts and uncles. I guess grandma could come along...if she wants.
I could never go that far away from you. Grandma yes, you and Mom, never! I clarified that in another post. 20 minute maximum!
i am gonna try to finish my DD's Thanksgiving outfit today if my hip stops hurting, i fell down our stairs this morning and landed directly on my left hip

but i want to post the picture anyway. mind you that is mostly pinned together so it is not perfect and i have to fix the ruffles on the pants..
everyone have a great day.
OOOOWWWWWW Misty! I hope you are ok!
I love this outfit Misty! It looks great!
Heather I didn't know you are a talented writer as well!!!
A girl of many talents!
I LOVE these!! Thanks for the instructions. TERESA will have to make some for our whole family for our May trip!
I'll get right on that!
I did start Courtney's autograph book though!!! Yeah!!!

We are in the process of Modpodging and stickering!
Um, thank you for thinking of me. I guess.
You are very welcome!
Weird thing though. I wrote this, and then left for the afternoon. When I got home, my favorite fish was DEAD! Coincidence???????

coming out of lurkdom to give praise for all the great things posted lately!!!
I have forced myself to take a sewing hiatus (for a couple of weeks) to try and finish a Christmas stocking (cross-stitch) that I PROMISED my SIL would be ready for my nephew this Christmas. It's going to be close.
But I love everything! I miss my sewing machine! Wah!
I started a cross stitch when I was pregnant with Corey. It's not done yet. He's 15.
This is WAY OT, so I'll just post a link.
I wrote a funny story today and posted it on the Community Board. The word 'funny' is subjective, though.
It's called,
"CRAP! We Have Mice! A Docu-drama:"

Enjoy!
Oh my gosh Wendy!!!! That is SOOOOOO funny!!! I too can see Corey doing this!
Anyone knows who makes the most authentic cinderella costume patterns out there? I bought one (by Simplicity) but DH doesn't think that it is authentic...so I am trying to see if I can find another one. One that has a size 5/6 pattern for my dd. This is something that I am going to "attempt" before our next trip. Thanks!
There use to be a more authentic looking one out, but it's out of print. I don't know who made it or the pattern number. I know, big help, huh?
Arminda and Lydia both want an authentic silver Cinderella dress. Now, where in the world do I find fabric like that????
That's what I though too!
Joann's also has some new Disney fabric. They have the 2 Buzz Lightyear fabrics, a flannel High School Musical, and a Muppets flannel with Miss Piggy, Kermit and maybe some others on it. I thought of you, UtahMama, when I saw it. Here is the green Buzz. It wasn't on sale so I only bought 15 inches.
I love this Buzz fabric!
HO-kay...this is the EASY dress I done-did last night in less than 2 hours plus this morning's zipper adventure.
It's a tad long but I like it! It looks like she's from a polygamist family

(which I hope at least one of you "got")
Butterick B4906 view B with added pockets(99cents at Hancock) The instructions are super simple and plain. OR, I'm getting better at reading pattern instructions?
This was for the Teddy Bear Picnic today at her Over-Priced Preschool. I got stopped a dozen times, which I secretly LOVE!
I love this cute dress Wendy!!! Nora is so adorable!
My next sewing center will be one that I can be using my embroidery machine , my regular sewing machine , as well as my serger and swivel from one to the other...

My Serger is a 12 year old Kenmore but if it were to totally keel-over I would buy the Brother Serger from
Walmart.com.

Nana
Just be careful you don't get dizzy!
Sooo YAY my mail man brought me goodies today. I will have a busy weekend for a few new outfits for our trip! I am not a huge fan of the over loaded fabric and the same ones might I add of Tinker Bell. But I saw the pink and Black ones and HAD to have them... for G of course not me. haha
Oooh yeah. when I rolled up the coins we had a grand total of *drum roll please* $167 in change!!!

now all the is gonna buy us what a sweatshirt and a few pairs of mickey ears haha.
I love the black Tink!!!!
YEAH for your coin money!!!!
Thank you! I was using Balmex which seems to be the cause of it, she might be allergic! The doctor told me she was glad I came in today, because if I had not it would have turned into a staph infection!

Glad I went!
Thank goodness you took her in! Poor baby and Mommy. I sure hope it starts getting better real soon!
