I'm sorry I not any help, but wanted to let you know I'm feeling for ya! I've been that frustrated before and it makes something fun, not so fun! I'm sure someone here will be able to help you out!
Great work to all the lurkers that have posted their pictures. They all are adorable.
Ok- my mom bought this wonderful pirate fabric from a quilt shop somewhere. I would like to do something with it for my DS3 but can't think of something great. It is great quality fabric so I hate to waste it on pjs. Anyone have any ideas for this? I have a yard of it. Thanks for any inspiration.

Cute fabric! There is a mom at our school that made some jeans with a matching shirt for her boy (5). She made a cuff out of her fabric around the jeans. Then she appliqued her shape on the front of a t-shirt. He wore it for Halloween and it was cute!
Is anyone going between Nov. 28 and Dec. 9. We'll miss everyone getting there on the 9th, we have a relatively early flight out. We'll be shopping at the airport to kill the time before because there's no point going anywhere when you've got to be at the airport around 9:45 am.
I have a list of customs to finish that's a mile long. I'm starting to get stressed out. I really want to get something done for
MVMCP and another Christmas outfit. I just thought about wanting to do an outfit for Ohanas but now I'm not sure I'll be able to get it all together by then.
*deep breath*
Okay, I'll calm down. I've got to get the house ready we've got company coming and my apartment looks like it should be condemned.
I'm starting to get a little nervous too....especially since I'm so easily distracted.....
How about a hoodie jacket? I've made several of them using Simplicity 5378 and found it to be pretty easy. Here's a picture...
Those are so cute!!! I love them!
I will be there those dates...but on Monday booked 4 day
DCL for 11/25-11/29 - our first ever...hope we don't get seasick.
Nicholas is joining us on 12/1 to 12/9....so if you see a little blonde boy with a surfer boy hair cut and a short chubby cubby grandma and grandpa...and of course his mommy and daddy...wearing cutoms...it is US!!

Well, I know we don't know each other, but if I saw you, I'd jump up and down and say hi!!! We don't get in until about 2 p.m. on the 9th, so we won't see you. So close and yet so far!
My sister is pregnant. They have been trying for almost a year and a half and finally after one IUI cycle - they are pregnant!
She is due in May and now I have a baby to sew for. They are not finding out the gender. Which means I must find all gender neutral things for now. Here is my first project. Both sister and BIL are Irish so the flannel fabric seems appropriate.
I used a small baby doll to demonstrate the blanket for DD.
Drama queen Lauren wanted her picture taken too.
That's cute!!! I wish I'd had a blanket like that for my dd9 when she was a baby. She loved to be snuggled up nice and tight. Congrats to your sister!! And drama queens...put me down for two!
Looking forward to seeing everyone and their kids in customs in Dec. We didn't get tickets to MVMCP. Is it worth the extra $250 that it would cost us? I just don't see my kids being able to stay that long to get any real value out of it. Am I completely off base?
Well, I think the general consensus is that it's not worth the money...however, we go for these reasons.....
the girls love the cookie/hot cocoa stations. I know this is a minor thing, but they love it. Maddi talks about it all year long!
We like that we can get onto any ride with hardly any wait....Two years ago we rode the Barnstormer 12 times in a row. I had to call uncle finally!
We love the 'snow' down main street...(that may be there on a normal night, I'm not sure...)
and the photo ops!!! There are extra characters out, some in Christmas clothing. We rent the double stroller and go until about ten o'clock. Then we trudge back to our room and crash! We never plan anything big for the next morning though.
We've gone five years to the Christmas party and two years to the Halloween party. We never actually gone any other time of the year! Weird. But my girls are a bit bigger than yours I think (9 and 5) so it's a little easier for us.
