This was the beginning of the minnie outfit. I woulld like to point out that the top ruffle is not straight b/c I haven't put snaps on the straps and she wouldn't hold still for me to pin straight.

OMG! I looove both of them! That Minnie outfit has to be cased! Pattern? :rolleyes1 I have been looking for a minnie inspiration for my dd11mo and I think I just found it! By the way you need some bows for that Minnie outfit! Maybe the bow fairy will send you a surprise!;)

I just had to add even though I have said it before, your daughter is soo stinkin cute!:cutie:

Here is the bodice of a Christmas dress I started for DD. I am so proud of myself for trying to appliqué. It is no where near perfect but it looks good from a distance.
Christmasmintdress002.jpg

This is the fabric I am using for the skirt.

And just because here is a wedding photo (Sept 2003) and we were both 29.

Ohhh, how pretty and I LOVE the lavendar roses. I had them in my
bouquet (sp?)too! I will have to dig some pics out and scan them, take the laptop to the scanner and then upload to snapfish, then onto the DIS...I will do it tomorrow, that sounds like way too much energy right now!!!

Let's start our own in crowd. Everyone here is now OFFICIALLY :cool2:

I'll teach you all the secret handshake later.

I love both of these outfits. I like your Minnie dot fabric better than my Minnie dot fabric. My dots are almost TOO big. Or maybe my dots are too close together.

And the pillowcase dress is too, too cute. I love that fabric. I wish I had more fabric choices here. I only have a Joanns and it's not that big.

Congrats on your applique!! It looks great to me! I can't wait to see it all finished. I've been eyeballing that candy fabric trying to think of something to make with it, I love your idea!

If I add a ruffle to the spiral skirt hem, will that make the hem easier?

If I add a ruffle to the spiral skirt hem, will that make the hem easier?

I think it does! It's more "work" but it makes it easier than hemming a circle, which is a pain!

:flower3: :flower3: Hi everyone...have been a lurker on this thread for a little while now and just love all the great outfits...you are all so talented.
We have just returned from Disney where we had a fantastic fortnights vacation. We stayed in a great resort called Bahama Bay by Lake Davenport which i can highly recommend. Now back in the rainy UK dreaming of our next trip in 2009.
My kids wore custom sets evey day (DD7 and DS4) made by some incredibaly talented designers such as Dena. Her small world sets especially were a huge hit at Epcot.I know you all loved that children of the world fabric! For anyone interested these are now being resold on Voldermort at a fraction of what i paid initially. Accessories etc...all included. Hope this heads up isnt breaking the rules but i want these gorgeous sets to go to good homes!!

Great pictures this week guys! I have been out Alex has been icky with asthma and we had a death in the family. So insane here. I plan on working on Halloween costumes this weekend so hopefully by Monday you guys will get to see it done. DD says she is going to look like a big poof ball lmao.

RachaelAitken~ I was looking on Vodemort last night and I would be willing to bet I saw some of your customs for sell lol.

I love the Minnie outfit and that princess toile is just so pretty! I love the picture of Lilliana with the paci. When Megan was that age all her pictures had that blasted paci or she had a highly pissed look because I had snatched it out of her mouth so I could take the picture! I think I hated that thing as much as she loved it! Now I look back and laugh, what a dork I was.

Oh, let me know if you need any Halloween fabric. I have lots of leftovers and I think I am officially done with Halloween!

Okay t....dh said I could post pics! Im so excited! So just for you I put a small pic in my sig!

Thank you so much (or thank your DH)! Your girls are soooooo cute!

I know that you cannot post links to auction but you can put your ebay id in your signature if that helps! Dena is so talented: I'm glad you had a great time!

Last night I make Pikachu pajamas! I was in my quilt shop and found the fabric on the clearance table. It is nice to see Jacob get excited about sewing. Yesterday he even wore his bat boy outfit. The problem is there is not much variety for boy stuff.

It's so cool seeing these pictures of one another! It's like we're family! :grouphug: You look so cute in both pictures!

There is one pic you will never find. No cameras were allowed in my delivery rooms until the day we took the kids home, after I had a shower and put makeup on. NO cameras, NO (w/ a capital N-O) video cameras.
it pissed a lot of grandparents off but they were all there...did we really need to relive it in photos??? I told them they could put away the cameras or leave. I'm a witch, right?
There were no video cameras allowed in the delivery room with me, either. Plus, no pictures until AFTER the babys were born. So, I'm with you! There's no need to relive THAT part!

Thank you for sharing these! You look so beautiful in them all! That's really saying something for a hospital picture!

Yay! Now I know what you look like. I LOVE this picture! What a special moment!!

Oh, the poor thing! She's still adorable, though!

Well I know i don't even make the popular list - never did in school so why should I try now??!? :lmao:

Being popular isn't all it's cracked up to be! :rotfl: I'm laughing because I wouldn't know, I've never been popular in my life.
I LOVE the overall/skirt! That is gorgeous and I love the peasant top with it!

So my dd will not have to have surgery- well not yet anyway. We just have to watch it-the hernia- If is staying out and causing pain then we have to go in. Otherwise they don't want to do surgery until she is about 3. So that means about 2 years of waiting. But maybe it will heal itself in that time, he said it probably won't but you never know. So anyway we can relax for the time being and just keep an eye on it.
Good! I'm sure it will be hard for you to have to wait in anticipation for 2 years. But, maybe she won't need surgery in the end.

Heather's sister in law MET Punky Brewster!
Yes, and it's Disney related! :woohoo: I'm on-topic! She saw Punky and the whole cast on the log ride at Disneyland. She waited for them to get off the log ride and her mom asked if she could take a picture with them. Apparently, Punky was a real jerk!! She was crushed, as any 8 year old would have been!

WOW!! Now that I see how cute you are, I feel bad for taking you down (which I will ;) ) I love that belly pic and the babys are so darn cute!!! I just bought Sawyer that Mickey costume on ebay. It's SO cute!

You know, I wasn't in the IN crowd either, I suspect that many of us weren't... but I am a Leo and like attention, Which is why I posted GINORMOUS pictures of me on the board. It's not the best pic of B (the wedding photo) he waited till the day of the wedding to get his hair cut then freaked out cause his stylist had quit and someone else had to cut his hair... so he just had it trimmed, no layers no thinning GRRR but he wore it down b/c he thought that's what I would've wanted him to do.:rotfl: I've never told him that I wish'd he'd have worn it back- that was a terrible cut!! But I look good which is really all that matters.

Let's start our own in crowd. Everyone here is now OFFICIALLY :cool2:

I'll teach you all the secret handshake later.

I'm cool! :woohoo:  :yay: :cool1: The banana can dance with others, just not by himself.

i am gonna buy a applique that says prince charming for The princess dinner In DCA at Ariel's grotto ,
my 2 yr old lil man has to come so he can't be just in blah clothes sitting next to his sister wearing this
th_jayedynsprincessdress1.jpg
ya know what i mean?
She makes me smile every time I see her picture!! That's a cute idea for your DS!

Ok, Megan is sitting on my lap waiting not-so-patiently to play on Playhouse Disney and we scroll by your picture and she says, what is in there? Where? That woman? What is in there? I tell her those two babies! She says, two babies? Now she is laughing and rolling around on the floor saying, how did two babies get in there? I think she crackyed herself up!
:rotfl: Now just teach her to say that she crackied herself up and you've got it covered.

My 8 yo old neighbor already told DD5 that you have to go to the hospital and that you have to push them out!! I told DD that I didn't have to push any babies out of my belly (2 breech babies). She still says she doesn't want ANY babies!! And that shes not getting married!
Tessa is already married. According to her, she married the ring bearer at the wedding where she was the flowergirl. Here's a picture of the happy couple. Oh, and he says they're married, too.

6-9-07RingBearerandFlowerGirldancin.jpg

:lmao: That's funny... I told DH that I have to lose 20 pounds (i think we're pushing 30 now though) before I get preggers again cause, I've always been "cute pregnant" and I don't want to be "fat pregnant":rotfl:
Getting older and fatter SUCKS!!!

...t.
I always hoped that if my belly got big enough that it woud push the fat rolls out. But, that never happened. :sad2:

You look great!

Me again! The threads going a little slower this morning than yesterday!
Beautiful!! At least your only picture of your wedding is gorgeous!

Here is me on my wedding day picture i absolutely look young;) and the reason why is... i am:rolleyes1 i was only 18 and dh was 19 and in the usmc we got married in reno nevada a half way point for my family(utah) and his(calif) and now we have been married 14 yrs with 5 kiddos :cloud9:

I love these outfits! Your DD is so absolutely adorable!!! Sawyer found a rogue pacifier a few weeks ago (after not having it for about 3 months) and it was like he found his best friend. I stealthily stuck it in the garbage when he wasn't looking. I'm such a mean mom!
ETA: I can't get your pictures to show up! GRRRR....

COOL!!!!!! Can I be in the "cool kids" club? :lmao:
You're already there!! :cool1:

Okay t....dh said I could post pics! Im so excited! So just for you I put a small pic in my sig!
OOOH!!! They're adorable! I'm so glad you can post pics now!

If I add a ruffle to the spiral skirt hem, will that make the hem easier?
Well, I have a ruffler, so...:rolleyes1 I don't know, I would think it might make it easier, especially if you make the hem even (and not scalloped all the way around). That's a lot of ruffle for the "ruffler foot impaired", though.

You said fortnight- how cute!! Can you post pics of your vacation, I'd love to see them!

Yes, you kind of broke the rules, you can't talk about auctions, period (hints or otherwise). But, I don't mind if you don't mind! You can put your ebay userneme in your siggy, though.

Ok, just for Teresa, I found pics of me pregnant. :)

This was 2 days before dd4 was born & we were moving into a new house...in a different state...having gained about 5 lbs of water in 2 days...after the trailer with 1/2 our stuff flipped...4 weeks before my due date. Never let yourself get that stressed out that late in a pregnancy, it's not good.

Here she is at about 20 min old.

This is about a month before dd1 was born. Yes there are shorts under that top, I promise. :rolleyes1
