We are Cheer Center Stars :cheer2: What gym were you at in Pickerington? Matrix!? You are not kidding about needing a lot of time to coach a great team. I think our coach would be better of to live there. Not only does he coach; he teaches classes and does several privates (including ours) every week.

I just learned about X outs  I thought I would get a break after fulls. She is so determined to get all of these skills it just amazes me. At the beginning of last season she fell at tryouts doing her back handspring. Now she does multiple handsprings, tucks, standing tucks, layouts, front walkovers and is really close to her full. She is a beautiful tumbler, she has so much power she kind of soars in the air while she flips. Her layout is my favorite to watch for some reason. Her coach said it is as close to a perfect layout as she can get.

I thought it looked like Cheer Center--I have known the owner since awhile before she started that gym.
I coached at Pickerington High School right before it split. Then I moved up to Northeast Ohio and was there for quite a few years before I had my boys. We won 2 National titles while there in Varsity Division.
If your daughter floats that much while tumbling, you really should see her do/try a layout stepout. They are the MOST gorgeous when done by one who can float in the air for awhile. It always takes my breath away when done by one who can have "air time". X-outs are just awesome to see--they look powerful and artsy.
Of course a full is always something to strive for and just wonderful to see as well. The control--and, just wait till she gets her full and she is working on a double!!!
If she has come that far in such little time, then she has a gift, that is for sure!!!!
When I judge cheer competitions, I love to see the great gymnasts--they are such awesome athletes. Cheerleading was my passion (kind of still is) for many many years, but my 3 boys need and deserve all of my attention right now. I just can't put in the time that I want to coach a successful team, as you know. It is more than a full time job, esp when coaching competitive cheerleaders in a High School, for they have to do all the games and school activities as well.....ah well, maybe some day I will return. For now, I will just keep judging some competitions here and there and watch.

Good Luck to your daughter's team!!! And, your daughter--you'll have to keep us updated on her progress.

This is the outfit I made Makayla with that Mickey fabric that wrinkles easily...but it was ok because she is so small that I didn't have to use much...this was a blast and the food was great!!!

After seeing the comments and wonderful pictures of the Princess Storybook Dinner, I had to post pictures of Tessa when we went in Feb. 2006 (she was 2).

Finally, she stopped eating to see Jasmine (she gave her a hug, too):

Later on, she talked about how much she loved seeing all the princesses, but she was a little star struck at the time! :rotfl:

If you're interested in seeing more of our pictures from Disney, here's the link. The first pictures are from a trip that Tessa and I took with my mom when I was pregnant with Sawyer in 2006. The older pics are from our last 14 family member trip in 2004 when Tessa and Lydia were only a year old:HeatherSue's Disney pics

This still cracks me up!!! That's our Tessa!

I finished my pirate princess and boo skirts finally!

First these are the first skirts I have made in probably over 10 years. I started with the boo skirt and worked up to the pirate ones.

This is the outfit I did for my oldest DD, the younger one didn't want to participate. I found an orange onesie for her and used the heat bonded gems to spell out BOO! in purple

She is making the piarate ARGH sound :)

These are so cute, I just love candy corn on anything! The picture of the Arrrrrr face is hilarious but, I love the look on the younger ones face. It looks like she is trying to make a scary piratey face too but, doesn't know what to do. So cute!

Well, since she fell asleep during the Lion King and cried when I told her she saw it, it's back to the Animal Kingdom for LK and then for a repeat of Nemo the Musical...she loves that music and they sell the CD in the park...it is beautiful...and to the safari if she lasts that long, then nap time and off to MK for dinner at LTT...and another ride or two on Small World and Dumbo...WDW with a 2 year old is done by the 2 year old's schedule and likes...as I know you already know...but since my youngest is 24, I forgot..

I think I saw Utahmamma and her kiddos in AK the other day...beautiful customs and beautiful kids...

good night for now...

I love the picture of your daughter!

I've been worried about you! I was about to email Heather and ask if you were ok.

Thanks for sharing the story of your other daughter. That must have been so hard to go through. Thank goodness you didn't listen to your doctor!
If Gavin had lived, I wouldn't have Arminda, but I am still very sorry and sad that he died. I can separate the two in my mind (and heart), and still grieve for the loss of one, although that loss allowed the birth of another. Someday, I know, I will be able to hold all of them! That just makes me cry thinking about what a happy day that will be!! :grouphug:
Thank you it's one of the only pics I have right now and thank you for thinking of me. I did get really sick after coming back and I'm just now recouping.

I've rewritten this sentence too many times already, I am blessed with 3 healthy girls and I know that I will be even more so when I get to heaven. This is hard to share, and I am surprised that so many on here have experienced this. Maybe that's why we are so over protective of the children we have and why we like to make beautiful things for them.

I have loved seeing all the new outfits on here. And I cant wait to see more. I'm still tired and havent been able to comment on everything on here but will hopefully be able to get back on here soon.

They are just adorable!! I'm sure that the little one will be more participatory later!!

SO, I have this fantastic day of the dead fabric I got at Joann's. I wasn't going to make a halloween outfit, ( I have 5 others - wow I think there are only 2 to go now- in the works you know- plus costumes) So anyway, then I thought about halloween day. She's GOTTA have something special to wear that day!! so the DOTD fabric get's bumped to the front of the NON- DISNEY clothes line (no pun intended) even thought what I really wanted was to do one of those cute layered skirts w/ halloween fabric, right. No, I already have the DOTD fabric and my budget has recently been cut severely (like no season passes, possibly 3 day passes, probably just the MNSSHP tickets we already have and a lot of pool time at the hotel grrrrr) and I'm just glad to get to go, so no, I am not buying halloween fabric. But then I saw the cute halloween tees at Old Navy ( one said "daddy's under my spell") and then you guys show me these super cute skirts....What's a girl to do?? I mean how much fabric could you need for a 2 yo's skirt!! of course then I'd need The striped stockings....

I love that Halloween skirt, what pattern did you use? I've been trying to tackle one like that, but no luck yet!

Love your pirate ones too!

I have some left over Halloween fabric I'd be willing to give you. I don't have any with skulls on it but if you just want something Halloweeny (that's a word, right?) I'd be happy to ship it off to you. If you want to see pics of what I have I'll take some but I'm on my way out the door for my sons speech right now so it wouldn't be right away.

I so LOVE this! We drive down to FL, so I am hoping that maybe there is a Craker Barrell that we stop at that might just have this tee! I am on a mission!! (Dosen't hurt that all of us love Cracker Barrell!!)

Hello all!

I just had to eek out one more outfit for our trip.;)

I had this tshirt with an applique that we got on clearance staring me in the face. I knew that I had to do something with it. Instead of cutting a panel out of the tshirt and then fusing it to a woven, I just cut VERY carefully around the applique and stitched it onto the woven around the edges. It worked out really well.

Anyway here is the finished project:
Mrs.jpg

The back of the shirt has shirring on it. (My first try at it BTW)
This tshirt came with several different pieces that you can add to Mrs. Potato head via a velcro backing. Here are a couple of different faces that I did:
Mrs-2.jpg

Mrs-4.jpg

I even made a pocket on the skirt to hold these pieces. It doesn't show with the top over the skirt on a small childs hanger, so here is a pic of just the skirt with the pocket detail.
Mrs-5.jpg

Mrs-6.jpg

Sorry that I didn't take pictures of the back, I will make sure to take some pictures of DD in it at the Studios. I think that she will wear this to Hollywood and Vine lunch. I didn't get a chance to do JoJo, so this will have to do.

Thanks for looking!

Thank you so much for the offer!! but that's really not neccessary. You know, I have met the most generous people on the disboards. It amazes me how thoughtful all of you are. :grouphug: Thanks for being a pal!

Now I'm hungry for Cracker Barrel. Thanks a lot! It's too bad for me that the nearest one is about 30 miles away. My waist line will be happy though.
