Alright here's one I finished last week.

The closeup of nemo, I was so tired by the time I got to his eyes so they're a little wobbly....

THe back. It doesnt have a seam down the back even though it looks like it does. I guess the way I ironed it.

What do ya'll think? My older dd's dont want a skirt, they want capris. Doesnt that involve opening seams on the capris?

LOVE that Nemo dress- especially the 3-D dimension from the seaweed and flower...Great Job! Two great Nemo outfits on the board today- I am officially inspired!!

As anybody else buying fabric and planning outfits for trips that are more than a year away? My husband asked why I needed so much Minnie Dot to make one outfit for a 2 yr old...and I told him by 2008 we could have another baby girl and wouldnt she want a Minnie dot outfit too?? He officially thinks I have lost it....:goodvibes

This water fabric is great. I havent seen it before. It works well with the nemo fabric!:thumbsup2 I may have try to find this fabric.

I found it at Walmart a couple of weeks ago.

Purple is her second favorite color besides pink. So this is what I came up with! Not sure I like it though!

I love it!!!!! I would love to copy your stuff, but you're way too advanced for me, just like everyone else on here! I have yet to use my first pattern. Everything so far is just measure and go.

I finally finished the Baby Simba dress for Tessa!! The dress pattern was fairly easy, but the applique gave me some fits (the white fabric kept unraveling as I sewed it onto the brown fabric). It's not perfect, but she loves it and so do I! The dress was really big (mu-mu-ish) on the top, so I shirred the back to make it fit a little better. I also skipped the zipper in the pattern because it really didn't need it.

OMG Heather!!!!!!!!!!!! I  that! And it looks like Tessa does too, she's a doll!

okay i can't believe i am posting this, but i finally finished Jayedyn's 2 hr pillowcase dress:

My girls found that fabric at WM the other day and I bought some. Now, what I'll do with it who knows! But, this is so very cute, I may CASE!

Beautiful work on the Simba dress!

okay i can't believe i am posting this,:scared1: but i finally finished Jayedyn's 2 hr pillowcase dress:rotfl: started last week .. i have learned that it is very hard to sew with 5 kids a dog and a husband who all need mom or a wife. i sew at night while my kids are asleep, but i mess up so bad that i think i seam ripped more than sewing, due to exhaustion . so my hat is off to all those who have created these beautiful outfits.. so here is my idea. be gentle , my next ones will be better..

And here is the back.

she loves it obviously..

. on to the next projects.

The dress is adorable and I love the back. The best part of it though is how happy you DD is!!!!

Ok, now I need Nemo fabric!
He turned out great.

the kids and I drove DH into work yesterday just to go to the JoAnn out by his office. And they have a much better selection of Disney than my local JoAnn. Then I spotted a Hancock on the way home but I had already bought more than I needed. I found the Mickey and Minnie with the large dots, which DD1 was quite taken with so, I need to figure out something for her.

I got one of the diaper/wipe pouches done last night, well almost 2 of them, but I only have white Velcro and I did a simple black pouch....with red and with polka dots for the liner and a red Mickey button on the front :) So I need black Velcro.
Then I post a few pics.

OT: Both my DS4 and DD1 are napping! DS hasn't napped in...I don't know how long. I am giddy! Where are the Bon Bons so I can truly enjoy this moment? :woohoo:

And yes, I know what time it is, but they usually go to bed at 9 and we are on the left coast so I will let them nap a bit longer and get them up for dinner. I am too excited to worry about the consequences. :woohoo:

Would someone please post these instructions again? I bought the stuff to make one, but can't find the directions!

:thanks:

Great work.

Hi to my fellow night owls! I can't stop making Disney stuff and we leave Friday morning. It might help if I finish packing! I had to share the flip flops I made DD for Calif. Grill dinner as well as my Polynesian shirt and more bows. I might need an intervention :)

Disclaimer- I have been in NYC all day and have a lot to catch up on. So I might post a lot.

Anyway, I love the bottle caps on the flip flops and the pluto colors are great. I never would have thought about that combo! SUPER

My twirl skirt... :)

It's not Disney, but tis a skirt... thought I'd share! Going to do something to the shirt...not sure what yet. Looks much cuter in person... :) I'll try to get her to model it later

Thanks for letting me share!!

I love those fabrics. The skirt looks great.

I think it is so cute....the tulle makes the bottom look like water....you should sew some little nemo's or crush into the tulle...it could be like the current they were riding in...what was the name of that  ....(nemo was not a big hit in our house)

It's the EAC dude! (Okay we have seen it way too many times!)

I was thinking the same thing I love the tulle. It really looks like water and it brings another dimension to the skirt! Nice job.

Here is something I have been working on for DD to wear to school.

I am still working on the jeans to go with this. So it is not completed yet!

But, since I haven't posted anything in a while, I thought I would share what I did get done!
